I really liked it. You definitely get some of the flavor and sweetness from the sherry. I also got some of the spice from the rye. It has a great mouthfeel but not a super long finish. I think it drinks right at its 106 proof. I want to get the port finish if I can find onesaluki2007 said:
I don’t typically buy ryes (I don’t need another thing to hunt) but have heard good things about that one. What’s your thoughts on it.Ragingirishman2 said:Cold night here but enjoying a new rye pour and a nice cigar. Life is good tonight.

Bourbon or rye? The bourbon is good but the rye is truly unique and next level IMO.Mark_B_Good said:Tasted Angel's Envy for the first time last night (not readily available in Canada). I LIKE! -

Took a flyer on basically high dollar Crown Royal lol. It’ll get opened later this week. Got the last bottle on the shelf -
Thanks John. I clicked on his his profile link from the message and I got a permission error, likely my error. I'll try following your instructions going forward. He and I are in contact and working out our sample trade.JohnInCarolina said:

Stumbled into the Handy. I had a 2014 Weller 12. Old bottle and label. Guy needed it for part of another trade package. Win win

Never had that and just don’t drink a lot of beer these days, but that would likely be right up my alley. 🤤JohnInCarolina said:

Picked this up while visiting my friend (see the Definition Of Insanity thread) in Arkansas this weekend. Had a few fingers of it while thinking about him, and how he was dealt such a sh!tty hand in life.Barrel proofs are typically too hot for my palate, so I use one of the big square ice cubes to cut down on the heat. Don’t know that I’ll buy another bottle when this one is killed, but I will spend some time thinking about my friend every time I have a glass.

I’m a fan of this one. I even keep a back up. I am a fan of barrel proof bourbons though which is why I probably don’t care for the small batch version.CTMike said:Picked this up while visiting my friend (see the Definition Of Insanity thread) in Arkansas this weekend. Agree with @saluki2007. UCUF is pretty darn tasty.

You gotta cut back on the dope smoking. The small batch is pretty good too. 😁😁😁😁saluki2007 said:

I have many of those and a few different however, all mine are opened. So, I will refrain for entering into trading. Strong offerings right there. Great collection.

Just for clarification sample trading is trading 2oz bottles. So if something of yours is open that is better. Don’t want to open something you have been saving for a special occasion.lousubcap said:saluki2007 said:If any one is open to sample trades let me know.
