Main fridge bottom freezer warm temp alert went off, ugh.
Took it apart for the first time and this:
Hugh hassle to empty and wait 24 hr so I speed thawed with hot water sponge bath. While I had the door and shelves removed it was easy to remove the pita in-freezer ice maker that was never hooked up. Reassembled and plugged in, temp dropping nicely now. Keeping fingers crossed but won’t know for sure until after couple of defrost cycles.canuckland -

@Canugghead - shouldn't those temps be in *C??
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -

i watched 2 of my guys divert a fire running out of a 3 inch natural gas line full open with a bunch of welders gloves and a metal trash can cover while on ladders while i looked for the main shutoff......and of course there was no shutoff handle in the line. some nitwit years earlier put in cast iron fittings on a gas line that broke clean off when we cut out the steam line. we were replacing the boiler with a water system in a big church from steam. punched a long pilot drill thru a wall and thru 6 or 8 bibles on that job. asbestos everywhere, extension chords nailed thru the chord into the walls, childcare downstairs, a complete night mare. i blame those bibles for my luck over the years since
dont use cast iron on a gas line. that church eventually burnt down.....an act of god
