Prepping fries for my first run at air frying tonight. To be served with Wagyu burgers….

If you get a craving for fast food type fries. These are deadly in an air fryer. Go as hot as it will go from frozen until done to your liking. I actually prefer these over plenty of fast food joints. Being from Canada you'll find them every where
  • Wings from the air fryer. Served with 14% sour cream and chipotle hot sauce. Sorry for the messy plate.

Upped the game with some spicier hot sauce.

@GrateEggspectations - great banquet right there.  Impressive menu. I got tired just reading the intro above.   B)

@JohnInCarolina looks like a dishwasher cook?  Gearing up for the Big One?

This thread makes me think that I need to plan a retirement where I just know everybody else's address and I just go from house to house until you're all sick of me - then move on to the next house...

Wagyu burgers with fresh avocado, soy-infused and roasted bok choy, candied pineapple, sesame-ginger-garlic mayo and Japanese bbq sauce on a toasted brioche bun. Paired with thin cut fries and cucumber-mint-feta salad topped with a balsamic glaze. All homemade, minus the Japanese bbq sauce and the bun.

Just showed that to my wife, guess I am going to attempt to make that next weekend. Can you tell me more about how you did the bok choy? We just got that same air fryer a few weeks ago at Costco.

  • @Battleborn

I halved the bok choy before coating in sesame oil, soy and rice vinegar. Placed in air fryer at 400 until done, checking every 5 mins or so. I recommend that you slice the bok choy rather than use a full half. My wife’s only critique of the burger was that the bok choy was a bit too big and fibrous. Sliced would be better. The real star of the plate was the candied pineapple. Did those - pineapples coated in brown sugar - along with the bok choy, but be sure to rotate them top to bottom if cooking in one go. Just did those again, actually.

Invited our friend who insures Persuasion is well taken care of and exercised while we are off island - Master Captain 200T Vessels - for a bon voyage snack.

    Marinated Rib-eyes

Some home-made tomato soup with onion crème and smoky green salsa brown rice.

Full circled with my wife's crepes with mango, yogurt and Crème Chantilly.

    Another beautiful evening in Solitude.

Looking forward to our time away, but...

I would expect nothing less given how you and your wife carry yourselves at least thru here and I am quite confident that is the norm.  Great eats.
Safe travels to the mainland and suffer thru your relegation here for the next couple of months.
