Just one sack, not enough for the big boiler: I used a small pot for this boil and split the sack in two batches.______________________________________________I love lamp..

@nolaegghead Envious right here. Looks like a great time as always. Eating well at a minimum. Dang-
If memory serves me right-a sack is around 30 lbs. So no worries, somewhere around 4-5 lbs /person. Put me in coach...
Looks like Linda is holding out for the main event!!

Rolled a butt on Sunday for most of a weeks meals. Ran naked until the final hour to get it done so I could go to bed.

Green Chile stew. I gave the pork loin roast some maple smoke on the Egg before leaving it in the slow cooker overnight. It shredded itself.

Pulled pork baked potato and bacon-garlic green beans.

Too funny. Tonight we had leftover PP and baked potatoes, and I took some of the inside of my potato out, then stuffed it with the PP and some bbq sauce. I thought to myself: man this is good, I wonder if anyone else has thought of this, lol.FarmingPhD said:Pulled pork baked potato and bacon-garlic green beans.

Sister-in-law made us schnitzel with homemade sauerkraut and homemade apple sauce. Even delivered it.

Bonafide great groceries right there @GrateEggspectations. I recall she is an exceptional chef and you are the beneficiaries of her skills. I'm sure all enjoyed.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. That’s funny, this is a staple rotation in our house when we have leftover PP, helps keep variety for us and the kids.JohnInCarolina said:

Freezer diving. Opened up some sealed frozen steaks, threw in Worcestershire sauce and garlic and sealed them up again. Went to shop and worked, came back and threw the steaks in the gravity smoker for 10 minutes and seared on the stove on cast iron. Looks crappy but tasted great, lots of good smoke. Hahaha…and I just used briquettes.

Friend of mine and his family are going through some tough times, so I made them roasted veggies with honey lemon dressing, cheesy garlic mashed potatoes and Carbonade Flamande (a rich Flemish stew featuring lots of beer and onion).
