I wonder if the CC&Rs call out "Bass Boat", or boats in general? If they call out boats are ships ok? Maybe they say trailers? If you remove tires is it still a trailer or is it just a platform and are platforms ok? Or is it just no "stuff" in side yard? That would be simplest way to do it, but then you could just call it "art" and then it would be ok. Remember one man's art is another man's trash, or is it treasure? Also, is the house with the offending, jealous inducing, boat on the street, next door, or just in the neighborhood? So many unanswered questions.WeberWho said:

no friggin bass boats. between the two yards theres 2 aluminum open boats (dub tubs is what i call them), two canoes, three kayaks (i dont use those) and an eastern style lobster boat. and one of those ridiculous paddle boats thats been leaning against the same tree for atleast 10 years unused, belongs to a soon to be ex sil. but no bass boat for cryingoutloud, thats just tasteless

Let me check if that homemade submarine is still available on Craigslist. No way HOA has thought about someone owning a submarine.Ozzie_Isaac said:

@Canugghead That hog head looks great.Coleman, Texas
Large BGE & Mini Max for the wok. A few old camp Dutch ovens and a wood fired oven. LSG 24” cabinet offset smoker. There are a few paella pans and a Patagonia cross in the barn. A curing chamber for bacterial transformation of meats...
"Bourbon slushies. Sure you can cook on the BGE without them, but why would you?"

Made some breakfast enchiladas for brunch. My FIL passed a few years ago and they always went to brunch to celebrate. With COVID around and the buffets closed I tried to make up for it. This recipe is a keeper.

This cat adopted me about a month ago. Found her under the hood of my 4Runner after a gym visit. 4 miles and up to 45 MPH, don’t know how she made it to our house but she did.

SWMBOs Uncle’s kitchenaid is back in action. I had to ask what and the hell he was doing to shred these cast gears. It’s typically the nylon failsafe gear that goes. His answer “Grinding 20 lbs of sausage”! Dude...you need a meat grinder or at least a bigger kitchenaid 🤣

Right. Excessive load. These kitchenaids are not commercial tools, even if they say "Professional" on them. Doesn't take much to smell the insulation on the motor either. Once you start wearing down the gears, the grit only accelerates the wear.I'm not saying I don't like them, I love mine. But yeah, not designed for continuous duty under heavy load.______________________________________________I love lamp.. -

This one is a classic plus 275 watt. I wouldn’t do 20 lbs of sausage with my Professional 600.nolaegghead said:ColtsFan said:SWMBOs Uncle’s kitchenaid is back in action. True, but we live on a quiet short cul de sac, trick or treaters prefer roads with more houses for better ROI. Even before COVID, for many years we’ve been lights out, after the year when less than five little ones dropped by.Botch said:

I've put at least 20 lbs of sausage/chili beef thru my KitchenAid, and it's only an "Artisan" (albeit 5 or less lbs at a time).
That didn't sound like a heavy load to me, at all.
