Good memory, I take Stelara for psoriatic arthritis. I have read that some biologicals may actually help keep symptoms mild because they are already calming your immune system’s reaction to things but too much unknown right now to bank on that. I work in finance so I’ll let my doctors lead the way if I do in fact test positive.U_tarded said:
Good luck, if I remember right you mentioned being on biologic medication?Cornholio said:My daughter and son had a little bug/cold last weekend which my wife and I seemed to avoid. Well Friday rolled around and I started getting a scratchy throat and those sneezes that hurt in your chest. Figured that the long hours and stressful week made me succumb to the kid’s bug so been taking it easy and isolating all weekend. No fever, a little cough and congestion in my chest, headaches, and a little bit of aches but not flulike (more like aches from laying around for two days). My sore throat is gone but just a few hours ago I made myself some Trader Joe’s spinach and cheese raviolis and could not taste a damn thing. Tried clearing my sinuses and then took a ginger shot and nothing, barely tasted a thing at all when those shots usually have a little kick to them.TL;DR - Just scheduled a COVID test for tomorrow.
Thanks for the positive thoughts guys, right now I don’t feel too bad. I’m 39, chase two kids around, and ride my mountain bike quite a bit so otherwise a pretty healthy guy. -

@Cornholio good luck, hope you come back negative, and if you are positive, it stays mild.

SWMBO's mom passed away this morning. She held on a lot longer than we expected a few weeks ago. Old age....93. She had severe mental decline last couple of years...she didn't remember anyone going back a couple months and lost the ability to communicate a few weeks back. Home hospice care at the end...24 hour home care the past couple years.
Anyway, SWBO wasn't very hungry but the comfort food didn't go to waste. Cheese stuffed hamburger steaks with mushroom gravy, taters, etc.

Started with a recipe for lamb tagine, a chunk of frozen leg of lamb, a few audibles with ingredients and some instant pot conversion guessing and had a nice Moroccanish lamb stew with cauliflower rice an hour later. Good on a cool night.THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION TO THIS MATTER -
