........Portable induction cooktop, any good for just keeping things warm,?not sure what the low settimgs are...i have portable LP tops but always tweaking the burner

I use the following portable induction top.  It has a "heating" setting and an "power level setting".  Lowest power level is 1.0 and lowest temp is 140.  I am running a test right now to see how well it keeps a thing of water warm.  I would never use it for this application though if it is around the party.  It is very loud between the fan and.the magnetic cook top whine.

Bachelor weekend continues with the lunch of champions. Triple meat pizza rolls and a rum and coke. Football games suck today, so far.

    Question for You, Professional Bachelor:
What brand pizza rolls, what temp, what time?  Doesn't look like ANY of yours threw up, and are intact.

At temp setting (140) the temp settled around 148.  The bottom of the pan, using an IR gun, ranged from 142 -148.  This is a 12" AllClad steel core (D4 maybe?  Craigslist find).

Using the lowest power setting (1.0) the temperature settled at 138.  The bottom of the of the pan was 136-140.

Each setting cycles the magnet differently, both frequency and duration was different.

It’s been a good day. Still hanging at the marina cleaning out the cooler before we take the grueling 500 yard drive home.

Tostinos. Its the only brand my 9 y/o will allow in the house. She will call our bullsh!t if we bring some off brand in the house. 425 for 16 minutes. 38 pizza rolls. That is important. One less roll, they all fall apart. One more, they are all still frozen inside.

They are also quite delicious (and healthy I might add) deep fried

Been trying to order from SRF all day and the servers are down. The charcuterie gods are against me. No pork butts in Abilene, meat counter is empty at home due to repairs on the cooler, SRF servers are down.
I think I’ll have an adult beverage.

My daughter and son had a little bug/cold last weekend which my wife and I seemed to avoid. Well Friday rolled around and I started getting a scratchy throat and those sneezes that hurt in your chest. Figured that the long hours and stressful week made me succumb to the kid’s bug so been taking it easy and isolating all weekend.

No fever, a little cough and congestion in my chest, headaches, and a little bit of aches but not flulike (more like aches from laying around for two days). My sore throat is gone but just a few hours ago I made myself some Trader Joe’s spinach and cheese raviolis and could not taste a damn thing. Tried clearing my sinuses and then took a ginger shot and nothing, barely tasted a thing at all when those shots usually have a little kick to them.

TL;DR - Just scheduled a COVID test for tomorrow.  :|

The loss of taste/smell has been the big discriminator in those I know who have ended up with the virus.  Dang- hope your wife is spared as this thing knows no bounds. Best of luck.
