In my pursuit of simplifying my life, caviar was among the first to go. Then I declared victory on wine so now I'm enjoying great proteins, brown water and always leaded beer. I figure those will get me across the finish-line.HendersonTRKing said:Caviar, Bitches. lol

Preparing for tomorrow’s colonoscopy and wondering why am looking at all this wonderful food on this website when all I can do is drink apple juice and hang around the bathroom. I’m learning I can take just about anything for one day. Somewhere in the back of my mind I hear Fletch asking “hey Doc ever pulled any time”?LBGE, 36" Blackstone, Anova ProCharleston, SC

@Eoin, no sir. My 16 year old son eats, no, inhales his food so quickly that I'm not sure that he can even taste it. The 18 y/o wants it well done with ketchup. The 8 y/o is spoiled and usually gets a completely different supper.Eoin said:

I have tried. They are getting better with "different" food, but steak is not one of them.Las Vegas, NV -
Just give them a bite of a properly cooked steak so they know what to expect when they get older lolBattleborn said:

It is a nation-wide natural disaster. Unfortunately their climate is inducive to this.
"According to the Bureau of Meteorology (BOM), 80% of the land receives less than 600 mm (24 in) of rainfall annually and 50% has even less than 300 mm (12 in). As a whole, Australia has a very low annual average rainfall of 419 mm (16 in)."
Not implying anything beyond it is a generally dry country/continent and coupled with the record high temperatures this summer a terrible situation.

I’ve had too much to understand what y’all are taking about.

strange usually at least the north eastern Australia has rain, in fact has tropical rain forests. The central part has mostly been a desert for centuries. There’s a costal fringe in the south east that usually has decent climate. I heard that the fires have wiped out 30% of all koalas. Probably more will starve to death. They only eat eucalyptus leaves and eucalyptuses are more flammable than pine trees.

While the US is not as inherently hot as Australia, the warmer temperatures have increased the range of a certain grub that's killing so many of the trees throughout the Rockies, which I've been noticing for about 10 years now. Lots and lots of standing, dead wood.JohnInCarolina said:Saying a prayer for my friends down under:
