@theyolksonyou VERY nice looking grub right there.
It's now clear that Yolks family vacation meals are substantially different than mine. I'm guessing each person even had their own beverage.

Same here. On our vacation we pretty much sleep in our car and eat at whatever soup kitchen we can find.blasting said:

When I’m on vacation (which is almost never) I don’t shave. But that’s the only time.nolaegghead said:On our vacation we pretty much sleep in our car and eat at whatever soup kitchen we can find.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

Such a great pic. I’ve only been to DC once as a young kid in the Boy Scouts. I don’t remember too many things about that trip but I vividly remember how quiet it was at the Vietnam Memorial. It was in the middle of a very busy area but was designed to eliminate the noise. It was quiet. Eerily quiet.Botch said:

Legit BBQ place near me has brisket cheese steaks on the occasion they have leftover brisket. Just so happened today was one of those days and I was working from home.

Just finished half, and it was worth the drive.
Trying to make the right choice and put the other half in the fridge for later, but I probably won't...
I didn't, it's gone...

stacking is the easy part, making change is more difficult for a stripperSonVolt said:I once saw a stripper in New Orleans instantly stack a roll of quarters, but I'll spare you the details.

I have actually seen that. A quarter turned in to two dimes and a nickle. Damnest thing I’ve ever witnessed in my life.fishlessman said:

Improvised a cauliflower gratin last night that came out way better than I expected. Dumped the florets into the cast iron pan used to previously cook the hamburger steak, so it had lots of beef fat and crusty fondy bits. After it had softened a bit I transferred to a roasting pan with some heavy cream and white cheddar and popped it in the oven.
