    This morning the girls were all playing in the sprinkler.  I will admit, after this pic I got in on the fun too.  Never to old for sprinklers.

    Love Walkerswood hot jerk.  Jerk spatch was good.  Had to retreat to the screened porch due to a squall.

    Thanks for the reminder that I need to order more walkerswood. That looks pretty tasty right there.

    Evan Williams and 7 in the new forest green Yeti 30. These powder coated ones seem much more durable. Philly cheese brats going on soon for a quick snack. Then back to the boozin'. It's Friday, boys!

    @FrostyEgg At times I wish I had something a little smaller. It's a 24×65

    Who built it? I'm looking at the Lang 36" with the warming box. Talked to a guy at Art A Whirl downtown a few weeks ago running a huge Lang trailer and he walked me around it. Looked solid and he had nothing but good things to say. It was a 108" if I recall correctly.

    Shirley Fabrication out of Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Lots of Youtube videos of Paul Shirley the owner of Shirley Fabrication going over his smokers. Every pit of theirs is custom made. Definitely worth looking into

    Ive seen the Shirley rigs around here. The 1+ year wait is a bummer, but that also gives me a year to convince SWMBO it was money well spent. Message me if you're sitting around tossing sticks in some weekend. I'd love to come check it out. Beers on me of course.

    Was it a big pot or a small pot? What was in the pot? Were there noodles? I like noodles.

    The year wait can be beneficial in a few different ways. It gives you some time to collect some spare change and add/subtract things on the build that you might not have thought of initially.

    I nabbed mine off Craigslist. Which was a bonus that I didn't have to wait but at the same time I would have changed a few things and made it the way I wanted it. It's currently up at my parents place. Hoping to do a little surgery on it and customize the warming box into a vertical smoker. You're more than welcomed to come check it out once I have it back here at my place

    @FrostyEgg I have a Lang 36 w/o the warming box.  Shoot me a PM if interested in more info.  Acquired in Sep 2016.  I will say that I don't have first-hand experience with the larger rigs but the 36 requires near constant attention to control the fire/temps.  FWIW-
    Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

    Sometimes it just has to be done. I have stirred the pot myself on a few rear occasions.
