    I want a job with the PD just for that reason alone.

    @Sea2Ski What do you do for bugs? I’d like to start stock piling for camping use.

    You want to raise your on bugs? I usually find there are already plenty already there where I have camped.

    @Jeremiah  What do you mean? Keep termites and other insects out?

    If so, the wood is up off the ground on skids that are on top of pressure treated 2x4s in the shed. I have never had termites.  I get some flys and ichneumonid wasps, but they eat the grubs in the wood and 99% of the time they are gone by winter.

    If the wood is outside, it is stacked on pressure treated 6x6 then tarped and the edges pulled out and a way so when it rains, the dripping water is away from the wood.  Again, I get the wasps and some small flies that bore in the wood, but I never had a infestation.  Bugs like moist wood. If it is dry, in my personal experience only really small flies will bore in it, but are gone by winter.I am in a 3 year drying cycle because I am on a wooded lot with little direct sun so it takes longer to dry. The wood cut this year will be burned the winter of 2020-2021. I usually burn about 4 chords a year.

    @Sea2Ski,

    Its Lake Sydney Lanier north of the ATL.  It has about 675 miles of shoreline (cue @DoubleEgger for fact checking).  It’s full of all kinds of bass, crappie, etc...  Michael fishes it regularly.  It was a peaceful Friday morning to be boating at sunrise.  We enjoyed it for sure, thank you.
    The mornings are awesome on the lake right now. Topwater action is great until the sun gets on the water. You’ll go from bass jumping 15-20 per minute to nothing in the span of five minutes though.
    Sounds like a great place!  Topwater action is the best. Nothing like casting out, letting it sit till the ripples from the cast are gone, giving it a good twitch and WHAM!  Fish on!!!!!

    @Sea2Ski maybe that’s what I did wrong. I built
    a “shed” at our last place, but the roof wasn’t big enough to keep it dry. Major termites after the first year.

    That’s just an indescribable feeling.

    Just remember if they jump out and start running, take the half a second to put your cruiser in park.

    One of my guys forgot and we ended up fishing his ride out of a massive ditch. (You don’t live that one down)
    Ha! Luckily I live in the desert and there isn't any water... but the first of for guys bailed and I asked down because the vehicle slowed down and one of my partners stole the lead pursuit from me.
