For those of you with DirecTV- You can get all the MLB package games gratis (at least today and if like past years, thru the first week of the season). Enjoy.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint.

Jerk chicken tonight. Did it indirect first at around 400F then finished direct. I mixed the jerk paste with a spoon of gochujang paste, which made it coat the chicken better. The result was tasty, served with guacamole and oatcakes.

Just got home from an out and back to Nashvegas. Saw Wicked at TPAC with my son's class. Found it rather entertaining.

I was going to get a Chevy Duramax. But Ford honestly made me a deal I just couldn’t pass on. It simply come down to dollars and cents. I liked the two truck equally. But Ford threw in a 3 year extended warranty for almost free. Notice that I said “almost” free. It still was a heck of a deal.DMW said:

That is a good deal but I agree you should have bought the Chevy...SGH said:Just got home from truck shopping. Bought myself a Ford F-250, 4 door, 4 wheel drive. They are delivering it to the house in the morning. Now I got to go back to work

When it comes to the heavy duty trucks, i honestly like all of them for different reasons. I like the Dodges for the in-line Cummins engines. I like the Fords for the frame and front axle on 4 wheel drives. I like the Chevys for the Allison transmissions.JRWhitee said:

To me it’s a win either way. I usually just go with who makes me the best deal. This time it was Ford. Last time it was Chevy. I got to be a little bit honest though. I wish that Chevy would of been the one to make the better deal. Guess it just wasn’t in the stars.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

A very wise little girl once closed her eyes and clicked her magic slippers together and said; “There is no place like home”. Brother, truer words have never been spoken. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. With a little luck, you will be home in time for supper.YukonRon said:Packing to head home in the morning. Been in Clearwater all week. Preparing for the biggest certification test of my professional life next week. I know, there is too much ice, but that bottle was full when I started. Las Vegas, NV -
I’m into the fords for the aluminum. Since I moved back to salt county it’s disheartening to watch your truck rust away.South of Columbus, Ohio.

@Battleborn. Good luck. And the problem isn’t that there is too much ice. There is too little bourbon. Chase the bird!Battleborn said:

In the same boat, I bought a semi last fall.... Ford L8000 with Alison auto and a Cummins 8.3L. Best of all worlds though not a grocery getter.

Shoes have been removed and dress pants replaced with sweats. And it got chilly outside, so I've migrated inside to the basement bar. Really should turn in though. Have a meeting in Philly at 10AM tomorrow. Should be a 1 hour drive, but there is rain forecast for tomorrow morning, which means I probably need to leave here around 4AM to get there in time...blasting said:They/Them
