For those of you with DirecTV- You can get all the MLB package games gratis (at least today and if like past years, thru the first week of the season).  Enjoy.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

Just got home from an out and back to Nashvegas. Saw Wicked at TPAC with my son's class. Found it rather entertaining.

I was going to get a Chevy Duramax. But Ford honestly made me a deal I just couldn’t pass on. It simply come down to dollars and cents. I liked the two truck equally. But Ford threw in a 3 year extended warranty for almost free. Notice that I said “almost” free. It still was a heck of a deal.

That is a good deal but I agree you should have bought the Chevy...

When it comes to the heavy duty trucks, i honestly like all of them for different reasons. I like the Dodges for the in-line Cummins engines. I like the Fords for the frame and front axle on 4 wheel drives. I like the Chevys for the Allison transmissions.
To me it’s a win either way. I usually just go with who makes me the best deal. This time it was Ford. Last time it was Chevy. I got to be a little bit honest though. I wish that Chevy would of been the one to make the better deal. Guess it just wasn’t in the stars.

A very wise little girl once closed her eyes and clicked her magic slippers together and said; “There is no place like home”. Brother, truer words have never been spoken. Just sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride. With a little luck, you will be home in time for supper.

I’m into the fords for the aluminum. Since I moved back to salt county it’s disheartening to watch your truck rust away.

@Battleborn. Good luck. And the problem isn’t that there is too much ice. There is too little bourbon. Chase the bird!

In the same boat, I bought a semi last fall.... Ford L8000 with Alison auto and a Cummins 8.3L. Best of all worlds though not a grocery getter.

Shoes have been removed and dress pants replaced with sweats. And it got chilly outside, so I've migrated inside to the basement bar. Really should turn in though. Have a meeting in Philly at 10AM tomorrow. Should be a 1 hour drive, but there is rain forecast for tomorrow morning, which means I probably need to leave here around 4AM to get there in time...

Ready to have my last shift of the week over with. These past 3 days have been hell with tonight being the worst.
Actually expecting legal action from one case ....on my end I did things correct, just dreading the headache.

I'll be off the next 8 days ..going to put the finishing touches off on the remodel (get that albatross off my back) and carve some decoys

Keep your head up bud, press on.  Been going through some heavy stuff at work on a couple of cases, with two salt-of-the-earth rural Midwestern farming families.
