    Yeah, I see Ghirardelli most everywhere. I prefer Guittard. You can get it on Amazon too. Callebaut is a good brand, but $$$

    John, I was thinking of making these soon, but can't decide whether to do the salted caramel ones or the chocolate version.

    Did you make the dulce de leche in that recipe, or did you just add condensed milk? The chocolate version may win because its one less step for the prep  (yes, I'm lazy like that)

    Ok. This clinches it. I need a sous vide heater. What do you all recommend?  I set my aquarium heater at 100 but it didn't work. Plus the fish all died.

    I have the Anova and I like it.  It works like a champ.

    Grace the anova is the most popular on here.   The joule looks much cooler I think.  There are also some cheaper versions that are well reviewed.

    Do the chocolate ones.  They're bulletproof and it will establish a solid baseline for you to work off of.

    I did not make the dulce de leche - I'm a lazy bastid too my friend.  I think I found some pre-made variation in the store.

    As predicted. A dozen or so beers plus seeing the Anova is $60 off right now clinched and now one is headed my way. Beer can get very expensive for me at times.

    Made my first batch this morning.  They're currently moving north to 176.   I doubled the recipe, and it made 10 instead of 8.  I was never very good at Math.
