How did they come out? 275-300 with no water is hard to do running straight wood.SkinnyV said:Leaving fire box door cracked, temp is running 275-300 and I'm not running water.... my fault being stubborn temp would be lower if I did.
but I'm keeping the smoke nice and light blue for now so we will see. I've seen @Lit say it has been done and he's had great results.
I picked up a good chunk of wood today from a local source so worth a try at least.

Went home :( It was a travesty. Almost went to IHOP, but they keep it like an icebox so I opted to just go hungry.kl8ton said:

First time trying this particular recipe. It uses way more eggs than the chocolate one. We'll see how they turn out, but I'm planning on topping them with a raspberry glaze.pgprescott said:

Happy to have a garden again after the move last year. Finished for now - until the peas, spinach, lettuce, and garlic are done. Then the fall round will go in!

Finishing up hand trenching about a 40 foot section of my backyard to put the irrigation system deeper so I can regrade a section of the yard for better runoff. Trench is dug, I will glue in pipe in the AM. Egg is coming to temp to grill a pork tenderloin that has been marinating in jerk rub for 72 hours.

Suffering the wrath of my kids. Gave in and took them to Petsmart to check out the adoption dogs.
They all wanted a little chiweenie puppy. I had to say no. They are all giving me the silent treatment.I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

You might as well give in and go adopt it. I didn't want one the little 10 pound yapper, but the wife adopted it anyways. I had to get a new English Bulldog in order to keep my man card. The two make quite a pair seeing the bulldog now weights 4 times as much as the mixed miniature poodle mix. But the wife is happy and we potentially saved a dog's life, so all is well.Ozzie_Isaac said:Suffering the wrath of my kids. Gave in and took them to Petsmart to check out the adoption dogs.

Thanks @pgprescott! It was a long, time consuming, and unexpectedly expensive process... but Lots of progress in the back in a year - SWMBO and I very happy here! (And proud of how all the work turned out) Last spring:

Good luck digging out of the hole.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
If you haven't adopted before it's kinda funny. I had less scrutiny getting a passport. Good grief. Took a week!Ozzie_Isaac said:Suffering the wrath of my kids. Gave in and took them to Petsmart to check out the adoption dogs.
