The Daily Mail is nicknamed the Daily Fail, it's a tabloid rag beaten only by the Express in awfulness and is massively politically biased.

In one of the oldest empires, where it used to be the sun never set and etiquette never died, it always amazed me how sensational rags could be so popular.  Maybe it's like the preacher's daughter....

Or maybe after a country reaches it pinnacle, the next natural step is idiocracy.  That seems to be happening here.

The only way is down when you're at the top. Then with your massive sense of entitlement, when you're not at the top anymore it must be someone else's fault.

These rags just pander to that Nationalistic sense of being better than Johnny Foreigner and makes the hard of thinking feel better about themselves.
