I decided to ground down some ancho chili peppers for the turkey rub. I also ended up grounding down some fresh coffee beans. "The pig is an amazing animal. You feed a pig an apple and it makes bacon. Let's see Michael Phelps do that" - Jim Gaffigan

Dang @DMW- a thing of beauty for sure. I'm not big on desserts but I can consume pecan pie. Great looking cook. May have to start with dessert today and work backward into the turkey. Happy Thanksgiving.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. Nailed it. So far so good. I like the built in wireless temp gauge too. Syncs good with my android. Struggling with the Iphone, but think its an iOS issue.Jeepster47 said:

Yes, but I'm still sold on reading the grill temp where the protein is located ... dome temps are a guess at best.Ozzie_Isaac said:

I'm a dome guy, so this is perfect. The extra height is cool. Perfectly fits the little wind generator to charge the transmitter. Curious to see how well that holds up.Jeepster47 said:

Yea, the solar option is kind of a bummer ... it's not sunny when the Smokeware cap is at it's best!Ozzie_Isaac said:

I love the delivery man, and I'm not afraid to say it. Although, I don't think he reciprocates.SGH said:The big brown truck just keeps on coming today.

Unfortunately, I'm as bad as my wife. She was pissed yesterday when yet another of my packages showed up because she thought it should be hers...DoubleEgger said:My wife buys so much crap online that the UPS guy has cut a deer trail through my front yard! -

Just finished cutting the grass in the backyard and then took the wife out to dinner to a new Tacqueira tonight. Outstanding food!
Got two carnitas tacos, one carne and one al pastor.

Prepping the turkey. Thawed out some oyster dressing I made with a sack of oysters after brisket camp, it is fantastic of course (in my best Trump voice). Loading up the egg with lump.

No sir, but I did assist. My wife did most of the work on them. However my duty starts shortly. Going to start loading the smoker in a few hours.Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.
