    It's an hour drive up from Austin and I'm not sure I'm going to be able to stay more than an hour once there, but I want to at least meet as many of you as I can and get just one oyster!

    The RD you are talking about? What is the location. Closest I found was North East side of Austin, 820 Blackson Ave.

    yeah- it's 15-20 South of Georgetown. Roughly 45-50 min from Salado in good traffic.

    You folks are killing me.  My son and I have been wanting to get back to Salado for 2 years.  Unfortunately the regional robotics competition is all day Friday and Saturday and he is committed to that... and I'm committed to being a supportive dad....

    Somebody please drink about 10 of @henapple's beers for me.

    Good whiskey was consumed and plans were made, but the biggest realization is that @caliking could host an EggFest in his backyard.

    not a lot of fresh seafood here. Probably one of the more basic ones by the sound of it. Central Market is the spot for stuff like that. Quality seafood is really good for seafood (imagine that) as well. You will probably stroke out when you see the prices considering you can buy it off the dock where you live.
