It won’t be a hard freeze down here. Im not dripping pipes (half the house off the ground) or anything crazy. Pets, sensitive plants.

How long are you supposed to be near 30?  I suspect you will be fine.
Oh for sure we should be fine for this round.   Just something I’ve become accustomed to doing and it just takes the first decent front to do the needful for the season.

We are not supposed to be above freezing in the foreseeable future. Wednesday we have a low of nine. I have about 75 water risers to keep flowing. So far so good.

These temps really prove if your car batteries are good or not. I will need a new one for the plow truck. I hadn't started it in a few weeks as I've been plowing with the Kubota. I had to jump start the plow truck yesterday.

We are not getting the snow that y'all are.

Just reminding my parents to turn on the dogs personal space heater.

Days like today make me appreciate the ability to warm up my car by simply pressing a button inside an app on my iPhone.

Just reminding my parents to turn on the dogs personal space heater.

poor pup was shivering last night at the bottom of the bed, enough to wake me up. lost power for an hour or so and the heater reset to 45 degrees

Checking in on our northern (Canadian) brethren. Does Trudeau resigning lower the price tag for Trump to buy Canada now? lol

@GrateEggspectations - Hard to dispute that quote, enjoy!

btw, couple years back overvoluming that song on a Colorado trip took out all four front speakers in the Impala.  Mrs. Cooper just looked over and said why'd you do that?  To be fair, they were over 10 years old and weak.

Emptying the dishwasher and blaring SRV’s “Little Wing”. As I’ve said here before, Zakk Wilde said that this song was proof that God exists.
oohhh, SRV's cover or Jimi H's OG version?

Got to be the cover, given Grate’s invocation of SRV.

finally got my new network streamer, a Cambridge Audio MX-N10:

...talking to my Wifi, then to my iPhone, then my laptop, then finally to my new TIDAL account (still on free month intro); I'll work on getting Apple Music going tomorrow, my brain started cramping (I am not good at this stuff).  I then spent the rest of the afternoon exploring the 'net radio stations, and the interface between the Cambridge app (called StreamMagic) and TIDAL; a lot to learn here but I'll eventually get it all figured out.

    Ding dong...!

And just to be clear, he says he is resigning but everyone knows that he was effectively fired.

I need to dig into this Botch.   We have music playing every waking minute.   Could be a nice addition.

@Botch did you look at any others? I didn't know Cambridge made one, but I've almost pulled the trigger on the Bluesound node a year or two ago and then got distracted by other priorities. There seem to be a lot more on the market now in that price range, I was never going to spend $1500+ on one.
    Love you bro!

I found one Radio channel (and, of course, I can't find it now, stay tuned) that had no commercials, and would play tunes from ALL genres, back-to-back; heard pop, African jazz, EDM, country, Bavarian folk, Saudi dance-pole (OK I made that last one up) and it kept my attention, with tracks I didn't recognize at all.  Fun Stuff!
