Lol, okay, that story is actually pretty funny (except the part where the dead bear was killed by a motorist, not RFK Jr.)

It actually makes pretty good sense too.  Who hasn't picked up roadkill and then not been able to get it in a fridge before it starts to ripen?  Putting it under a bicycle in Central Park to look like a bike accident is funny.  Much better than leaving it in the car while he flies somewhere and it just ferments inside.

changing the flat on my mother in law's Prius for the donut so she can get a nail the size of the Washington monument removed.

I had been at the beach all day, so I was in my prescription RayBans in her parkade with typical underground parkade lighting. couldn't see a thing with our without the glasses (too dark or out of focus - take your pick).

The donut, tire wrench, and jack handle are stored sensibly in the floor under the trunk.  The jack itself is stored UNDER the front seat, accessed from the back seat after you throw the front seat all the way forward and behind a useless plastic cover held on by the same clips used to secure doors on the International Space Station. had to youtube the location of the jack. but got the donut on her car and "google drove" her to the tireshop she needs to find.

time for a beer.

Could you have just lifted that corner of the car up and put a skateboard under there?

@zaphod want to talk about brilliant storage location? My Honda van's jack and handle are stored above the left rear fender for easy access, BUT the donut is stored under the floor between the front and 2nd row seats, you have to move the front seats all the way forward and  evacuate the middle row passengers to access the stupid thing

that is horrid.  Toyota and Honda are usually so well thought out - but when they get it wrong - jeez.

My favourite (no sarcasm) was the volvo 245, say 1985 until the end in the 90's. It was like I was on the design team, everything was where I would have put it.
