Sheriff called me, Ron fell last week and has been in the hospital.  Good news is he should be released middle of this coming week.

@Ozzie_Isaac thank you so much for bird-dogging that down. You are good people. Glad to hear it wasn’t catastrophic and he is on the mend. Say what you want about Ron but he is legend in my book. This place will miss him dearly when he does finally go to the big buffalo ranch in the sky. I’m glad we don’t have to worry about that in this case. I’m all in to pitch in for a care package if we want to put something together for him.

I think a get well card with $11 cash from Wes Johnson would be perfect.

I'm in, and grateful he's going to be ok.

I can't imagine he's an Uber eats or DoorDash kind of guy, but if there was a way to help him get meals or at least groceries while he's on the mend, that might be good. I have no idea about what local support he has.

Maybe it was a piece of KICK BUTT carrot cake that made him weak in the knees.

If I've been following a long correctly, he has about 725 "make ahead" meals.

I haven’t been here long but I can say without a doubt this is the best online community I’ve ever been apart of. This was a wild ride even not knowing Ron like you all do. 

I truly wish @RRP the best and speediest of recoveries.

Glad to read Ron is alive and recovering. Was getting concerned. I know he is the main caretaker for Pat so hopefully he has some family close by that can assist while he recovers. It would be nice if we could send a care package his way. Unfortunately I don’t have time to assist but I can definitely donate if something comes together.

I'm near RRP's age and I fall at times too, maybe Ron and I could get together sometime and learn how to land.  The falls are embarassing, but the landings are sometimes dangerous.

What say you Ron, some time when we are both able, get together and practice?

Mend up and let's give it a go.  Boomers been through a lot worse thing.

I don't know @RRP and have had minimal contact with him on this forum but always enjoy his posts and feedback here. His absence is quite noticeable here and I am glad to know things are somewhat OK. Speedy recovery sir.

BBQ people really are the best people. @Ozzie_Isaac you took the necessary step to check up on a friend of many here. Thank you. 

Many @RRP tales abound, so I'll throw one out... Some years ago, I needed some direction for finishing a tabletop for my eggdom. RRP spent the day messaging me every 2 hrs, to make sure things were progressing satisfactorily. I did appreciate it. 

I admit to not being the most organized person, but I'll be happy to take the lead for sending him some sign of support, and well-wishes, from the inmates here. 

And, yes, I've been on the receiving end of a few indignant PM's
