As with others, I really hope all is well with Ron. He’s one of a kind. Very few people will proactively ship you items before even having received payment. I also appreciate his stories, his humour and his abundance of words and expressions that feel like they are direct quotes from early Archie Comics.

Start a thread about rutland gaskets 1) asking if they cause cancer or 2) if they void the bge warranty. That should conjure him.

I'm sure he'll be back when he's ready, in the meantime, good thoughts his way.

Good point. But IIRC, he also likes to invest, so I can’t imagine him being off the grid that long (unless he’s very disciplined in sticking only to that).

I think what we call a dressing down is a generational difference.

He would probably call it an opportunity to edumacate you young whipper-snappers.  Grandfatherly advice given with love and care, even if they didn’t show any outward signs of love and care that these softer generations have come to expect.

Great news.  
Now he just needs to personally remove all doubt when the opportunity presents as that will definitely calm the waters.

Not be overly dramatic, but sheriff has been contacted and they will perform a wellness check.

For those who don’t know Ron, without getting into specifics he most likely wouldn’t be traveling for a week.
