Here’s the recipe - it’s easy. It’s actually one @dmchicago turned me on to some time ago.

I believe this was the first BGE cook of 2025 for me. It was a somewhat chilly day, but it had warmed up above freezing in the sun. I did this in the sun. It was a perfectly ordinary tri-tip and this one happened to fit, so I used the Mini.In the first photo it was starting to sear the first side, whilst shivering all the while. I seared it with the top open, first time for that for me.Once the sear was complete, after about 3 minutes per side twice, I closed the dome and adjusted it to about 400 F, knowing that when it was actually cooking, it would run about 350 F or so.The next photo was just before I pulled it at 133 F internal.Sorry, no plated pics. Except for a couple inches at the narrow end which I did eat, the rest is in the fridge. Tomorrow I'll slice it up - I really like thin-sliced tri-tip sandwiches on sourdough.Somewhere on the Colorado Front Range

Johnsonville Cheese-stuffed sausages on the Small, green pepper, Loubia (Moroccan white bean stew):
That bean recipe is good, so I'll paste it here:
Moroccan Loubia (Classic Moroccan White Bean Stew)
Ingredients
3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil 45 ml
1 onion
4 cloves garlic
1 tsp sweet smoked Spanish Paprika 2.50 grams
3/4 tsp ground cumin 2 grams
1/2 tsp ground ginger 1 gram
1/2 tsp ground turmeric 1.5 grams
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes .50 grams
4 tomatoes
2 cans white beans 15.5 oz / 440 grams each
2 cups water 480 ml
.2 tbsp chopped parsley 8 grams
sea salt & black pepper
Instructions
1. Drain the cans of white beans into a colander and rinse under water, finely chop the onion, roughly chop the garlic, and finely grate the tomatoes, you want about 1 cup (240 grams) of grated tomato
2. Heat a large fry pan or stock pot with a medium heat and add in the olive oil
3. After a couple of minutes add in the chopped onion and garlic, mix continuously, after 5 minutes and the onion is translucent, add in the paprika, cumin, ginger, turmeric, and crushed red pepper flakes, mix together until well mixed, then add in the grated tomato, chopped parsley, and season with sea salt & black pepper, turn it up to a high heat, give it a mix, and then simmer for a few minutes
4. Once the grated tomato has slightly thickened, about 5 minutes, add in the drained white beans and water, give it a gentle mix, once it comes to a boil, place a lid on the pan and lower to a low-medium heat, simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from the heat
5. Transfer into shallow bowls and garnish with fresh parsley, enjoy!

Another winner from my lovely and talented spouse:
Only thing she changed was to add some dollops of homemade pesto at the end. This is good. She did it in the oven but I’m sure it could be adapted to the BGE, and the smoke might raise it to an eleven."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

@Botch, @GrateEggspectations and @JohnInCarolina - rolling in hot for great cooks and mid-week. Way to crank out the groceries.
However, in taking a page from @DoubleEgger you should consider the stand-alone thread option to engage more participants. They each merit that approach from my perspective. FWIW-
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -

We're getting what is considered Arctic weather here, and that stew would hit the spot. I'd tuck in to a bigger bowl of it... and leave caliqueen to fend for herself during the aftermath
