    Not only have I never made this, I'm not sure I've even had it before; delicious but kinda labor-intensive.  
    Made schmaltz with the skin and fat from the bird, was sizzling nicely for about 40 minutes then went from almost-crispy to burnt in a couple minutes, so I had to use veg oil.  The balls didn't stay together very well either; couldn't find matzo mix around here so I threw some matzo crackers into the food processor, maybe didn't grind them fine enough.

    @fishlessman nailed it. Yes on the gelato and only the real deal.  But given it is imported that may be a challenge.  I'm quite sure a full up adult beverage liquid diet can ease all sorts of concerns while the healing takes place and provide some antiseptic benefits.  B)

    It was cream soup, cottage cheese, pudding and ice cream the first couple days, but I can chew on the right side of my mouth so this is fine.  
     
    Still craving a chopped cheesesteak on a french roll, though....  :|

    Italian gelato here.  With covid it's landed in supermarkets here

    Found this on Reddit.  It was from a recipe book made by someone's family.

    There is room for improvement, but I mean the basic structure is there.  This has serious potential.

    You should ask him whether he’s willing to let loose and feature four cheeses for you (at extra cost, no doubt).
