Just a few pork chops (50/50 meat church honey hog & holy gospel). Roasted brussels and mac & cheese. Nothing special but always a tasty meal.

@Battleborn That looks really good, I love some risotto. Never had it with shrimp though, I’ll have to give that a try soon.

Snapper Amandine with meunière sauce and some scalloped potatoes tonight. 

Caught some mingo snapper out of Pensacola a while back. I have no clue why I haven’t made this before, it was great.

3 kilo pot of boring pork butt curry.


Marinated the extra strips of pork in Walkerswood spicy jerk with added all spice, low and slow in pellet pooper at @170 (pressed for time and cranked up to 225 near end) till IT 145. Smoky, spicy, juicy and tender like poor man's prime rib!

Been there, done that in Cody, WO with my two very young sons at that time.  Tastes like chicken and both (then 7 and 11 yo-SWMBO wanted no part of 'em) enjoyed.

Made a pie out of some preserved homegrown fruit that my mother gave us last year. Kids called it “Monsters Pie” since it ended up purple-y like their blankets with monsters on it. Will likely eat a slice for breakfast. Pears, lemon juice, strawberries, blueberries, sugar and cinnamon.

Me too Fish haha. Just learned about it a couple days ago. She said they do a father daughter one too. I guess it’s something the local moms day out group does.
