Was good and pretty filling. Cleaned up and took a walk with grandson to buy a treat at a new soft serve place near our grocery store. Not sure we walked off the calories from all that but it was a nice mile long walk.

Wifey and I had settled for a quick and easy pre-made spring roll and salad combo tonight, as we have a lot to prepare for a party we are hosting Friday and thought that would give us some time to get down to business. However, she got some ideas and insisted on a tofu-based noodle dish featuring fried cauliflower. She’s finished work for the summer, so hard not to indulge her.(Edit: For the record, both garlic and ginger were tripled.)

Working the grill fast to avoid raindrops like J McMurtry. Sweetwater IPA at the grill and a rioja at the table.Flank steak with fajita seasoning, chicken thighs plain or Cajun seasoning. Corn with evoo+s&p. Channel your inner Spicoli this week because the waves were before and will be after the people.

"Grilled chicken cheesesteak sandwiches. Sorry, no money shot."
What was your cheesecake so chicken about? I saw that you grilled it, did you not get the information from it during that process? Don't answer me here, anybody can read this, meet me at the bench in Gooseberry Park, the one closest to the 7-Eleven on Broad Street. I'll be the talking shrub to the left, make like its natural, like we haven't rehearsed this over and over ... and fought over who was the best talking shrub between us. Shhhh....

Had a change of plans and a cooler with ice so added a stop at the seafood joint. Oysters, tuna steaks and corn. Pulled the tuna steaks at 110 internal and set a plate over the dish to rest with the target of 120. They cruised past the “sushi in the middle” look either at rest or maybe on the grill but no harm sharing reality. Taste and tenderness, moisture were all still fantastic. Not bad for last minute.

@Canugghead I tried pulled pork on the Traeger a few times and while good, I usually smoked them on the egg because it comes out much better. I wanted to try it on here just because.
@JohnInCarolina that pic is a little deceiving but yeah there is plenty of room for more. I’ll probably throw some dogs or sausages on mid cook and maybe some squash from the garden.___________________________________

Here we are two hours in. I’ll probably bump the temp up quite a bit at some point but not really in a hurry.

Can usually get an onion on just one skewer and the width of the blade is enough to keep them from spinning.

A few boneless skinless thighs, a little DP mole + touch of turbinado sugar and I just rolled them up and skewered. 275 for about 45 min, basted with TJ’s truffle bbq sauce a few times. They were nice, next time I’ll stuff them with something before rolling them up.
Love you bro! -
