A very, very bastardized pulled pork. Apologies to the purists.

@JohnInCarolina - Ribs look great. Which do you prefer flavor-wise?
BTW- did I miss the $$ shot??Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. CHEETO (aka Agent Orange) makes Nixon look like a saint. -
Definitely the gochujang. But everyone agreed the flavor is not quite as good as my standard, a combination of local NC sauces.lousubcap said:@JohnInCarolina - Ribs look great. Which do you prefer flavor-wise?

No money shot, so I guess it didn’t happen? 🤷🏻♂️"I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike

I am really not sure what I am looking at. Looks like sliders made with beef ribs & eggs and served in a soup.GrateEggspectations said:A very, very bastardized pulled pork. Apologies to the purists.
I would rather light a candle than curse your darkness.

Time to adjust your glasses prescription, @Ozzie_Isaac. Pulled pork with old cheddar, mayo, bbq sauce, some pickled veg and a fried egg (causing the “soup,” as you would call it).
-
@GrateEggspectations - my eyes are fine other than I don't know why I didn't see that photo til now. I caught the build with the fried egg-always an enhancer. Great eats right there.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. The best things in life are not things.

A variety of beef rib meet cuts. They were attached to the ribeye portion semi-remotely

@Foghorn - to the non butcher (and non surgeon) here, looks like plate, short and very meaty back ribs. Regardless of my guess, you are living the high life right there. A full up "Better to be lucky than good" cook. Enjoy!Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. Looks great, as usual. Do you sometimes sear after the hot tub? I’ve found a torch to be the best application for that. Some sing the praises of a hot pan, but I like the intensity of a torch, as it keeps me from overcooking.MasterC said:Still playing around with the sv.

Caliprince asked for some of his favs for his birthday dinner… ratatouille, Vietnamese/Thanh Long-style garlic noodles, grilled King crab, AND prime rib.The KBQ got the call for the prime rib. He asked for the crab to be done on the Simpsons Weber kettle.

Seems like I forgot to grab a pic of the ratatouille. And, a plated shot. Oh well.It all apparently turned out to our little dictator’s liking. He had a good day, and that made us happy.#1 LBGE December 2012 • #2 SBGE February 2013 • #3 Mini May 2013A happy BGE family in Houston, TX. -
