Copper wire, a disconnect and a new meter base. Gotta love municipalities owning utilities. Lord it ain’t cheap. That and 20’ of pex to repair a busted hot water supply line. Yesterday was a bad day at the house.

when building my house my builder told me that he could not get meter bases anywhere due to supply issues, but I could pay $5K to have one dropped within a week...
The electrical contractor, who is a good friend, gave me one..

It goes out the roof. I believe that's a drip trap? My understanding is so rain that comes down the vent does not go into the heater.Ozzie_Isaac said:

My previous heater failed prematurely. This new company is making sure everything is right. Monitoring gas pressure, GPM flow through the heater, combustion air supply, air quality in the room, additional anodes, the whole nine.Large, Medium, MiniMax, 36" Blackstone

Right? I have one month left of running it and the other heater crapped out. Buy new heater and let the warranty run out over the winter! I honestly don't know how long the warranty is. @alaskanassasin All kinds of things. Coasters, vases, flowerpots for the wife, fidgets for the nieces/nephews and cousins. Working in the CAD software designing a new handle for my large. Still learning at this point. Definitely a rabbit hole like @paqman said.
