Having the same issue with the same model of Red Wing lace ups I’ve been wearing for 15 years. There’s 11 pairs left in the entire country. I’m buying 3 of them

Also, paying Uncle Sugar. I threw up in my mouth a little when the CPA called me. Nothing like paying what’s owed plus this years quarterly by Tuesday.

I have a standing rule every April with the accountant, "Never call me with the news on a Friday."  At least the weekend is the calm before the storm.

He called me today. While I was playing golf. Right before the sky opened up on us. Win win win

Only upside was ABC, all bets cancel, due to incomplete round. We were the first group and made it to 15

I love cheese.  But because I cook for one, I have trouble using up a purchase before it molds (common brick of Kraft ched/Jack) or dries out (Parm/Romano).  The Experts ("X" is an unknown quantity and "spurt" is a Drip under pressure) on the 'net insist on wrapping a cheese in butcher paper, and then either foil or Saran wrap, and after years of experimenting myself, that's bullsh*t.  I even bought a 1-lb-block of Jack, cut it in half, and wrapped half in the Exspurt manner and half in tight Saran wrap (my usual method), and their method went 5 days before molding and mine went 8 days.  So There!

Anyway, about six weeks ago I bought this little piece of plastic from amazoid:
    https://www.amazon.com/Hutzler-346-Cheese-Saver/dp/B01EMWIECM/ref=sr_1_6?crid=E84Q5CB8732T&keywords=cheese+keeper&qid=1681693757&s=home-garden&sprefix=cheese+keeper%2Cgarden%2C142&sr=1-6

The removable bottom, perforated tray sits up above the bottom of the entire container, and allows you to fold half a paper towel, get it wet, and then snap the perforated tray on it, and set your cheeses on the tray.

OMGWTFBBQ, this damn thing works!  I've kept both a chunk of Parm and of Romano for over a month, and they've neither dried out nor molded.  Every time I pull one out for some garnish I stick my finger into one of the larger holes in the tray, and can tell the paper towel in the bottom is still damp.  This thing is a game-changer for me; no more $9 chunks of parm that end up in the freezer for soups, when over half of the chunk was still non-rind.

If we buy a big block, we cut off a portion, then parchment, vacuum seal, done with the larger one.

Also use the vac seal ziplock bags.  Perfect.

    Love you bro!

Yosemite is absolutely incredible. As great as pictures look, it's something that needs to be experienced to truly appreciate I think.

One week on the dot. It’s been nearly 9 years since I have had a shoe chewer in the house. Lots to lock up and move.

Sorry Frank, only 2. It's impossible to find the wagon in 3 pedal version here, there are only a few of these around even in auto - high fuel prices make a 4.8 litre V8 a niche interest.

Three pedal anymore is about as rare as a unicorn around here.  But if you own one, very likely no one can drive/steal it...

Recently I saw a Jeep that had a sticker that read/showed "Millennial anti-theft device" and showed 3 pedals.    Got a good chuckle out of that.
