Are you seeing the slow-down only on boot-up or across the entire operation of the iMac?

Mostly on the boot up but some on general performance. But there’s an update, it has gone to puter heaven, no boot up at all. So I am about to head out on the hour and a half drive to the Apple Store. Posting will be limited to the iPhone for a couple of days.Edit: I didn’t see what I wanted at BestBuy last night.

Edit 2 unplugging and replugging seems to have worked but I will still go replace it today while I can access the hard drive.

Well I got the new iMac this afternoon at the Appl Store. I even got a bonus, a roofing tack in my right front tire. I imagine that it will be flat as a pancake in the morning.

I guess I now understand the verbal I got at my last Apple Store visit: "That'll be $OMG dollars, plus tacks".___________"When small men begin to cast big shadows, it means that the sun is about to set."
