@FarmingPhD - great donation right there.  Way to make a real difference.  Just keep squeezing the ball til finished.  Hopefully a good stick...
Stick to needle out in about 6 min.  I have a good supply line and always get a good stick. I gave in the summer for the first time in 10 years, the rookie stuck me, finished taping the lines down, and told me not to squeeze as I was halfway done. That was ~45 seconds, and I got light headed.  I request a tighter squeeze on the arm band now.

Armed home invasion like 10 houses down from us. Sounds like they dressed as police then handcuffed him and robbed him. Lots of traffic coming and going here dont think it was random. The victim was handcuffed and in the back of a cop car last I heard.

Finishing up a decoy for upcoming hunt

What species would that be?  I'm not recognizing it.

Thanks!  I'll have to check my Peterson guides, that may be a duck that's just east of the Mississippi; I don't recognize it.
I took up birdwatching in Grand Forks ND (not much else to do up there) and was surprised to see so many new birds I didn't recognize when I moved to utard; that's when I realized The Audubon Society's birding guides (EDIT: not the Peterson guides, as I mentioned above) had both a Western, and an Eastern, volume.
I'm not an active "birder" (those people are weird!) but the books are still useful to identify birds I've photographed.

Where were all the tuff-guy gun owners?  Must have done it in a libtard neighborhood.

you should have run down there brandishing your ar-15 in your camo cosplay.

Wow. Pretty crazy. Is your neighbourhood generally safe otherwise?

Safe neighborhood in a safe county. They were fairly new renters with lots of traffic in and out so pretty clear what was going on in the house. The president of our HOA was getting footage from the neighborhood cameras and was told by the investigators ot wasnt random.

  • Just got a phone call telling me to cook the turkey tomorrow instead of Thursday. Supposed to be storming on Thursday.
  • Getting ready to knock this off my bucket list

Quite the endeavour there with the turducken. If you have the time and don’t mind the effort, I’d love to see a thread on this - if only out of curiosity.

Finally enjoying the spoils of war while out in nature and making a fire out of green, wet wood.   In respect to the vanquished, I won’t reveal the gifts of the plundering, but I will say @lousubcap outdid himself for the third time in four years.    He also got this in my hand within a few days, with the help of his favorite three letter delivery company.
Well done!  Go Army Beat Navy! Until 2021!

For the record-the game was played on 12/12 and the goods delivered on Weds 12/16.  Three letter no "D" in the three always comes thru.
@thetrim- enjoy and if I'm still here we will go again in 2021.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

I am quite reluctant to actually mention any  shipping companies in other than a stand alone thread as The Buffalo has been known to nuke those threads in a matter of two-three comments (and just fact based, at that).
I have had little experience with the D company and it was a few years ago-no issues.  I just don't want people to get confused.   B)

Well, many moons ago, someone sent me a time sensitive legal document from India by *** (doesn't start with U). Guess what? I got it more than a week later, reason? They outsourced it to the local post office as registered mail  :o

  • Threw some short ribs on for tonight’s bowl game. My Knights had a disappointing year, but this should be a fun game vs BYU tonight.

Neighbor (brisket camp lawyer) cut himself with a knife.  SWMBO utilized her nursing skills and over-kill first aid supplies to patch him up.  I offered to get the super-glue, but my suggestion was rebuffed.

Another of the costco premade bacon wrapped tenderloins. Cooked this one hotter like 425 and the bacon came out better.
