It never ceases to amaze me just how fragile some "adults" can be. I didn't intend to create any drama over using an AOC tweet. Hers just happened to be the most recent one in my feed which had the Begnaud tweet with the video clip when I thought some folks here might be curious to see the actual event since it was mentioned earlier in the thread. My bad.I swear some folks should just keep their binky on a necklace so it can be readily available whenever they feel stressed.“Reality is that which, when you stop believing in it, doesn't go away.” ― Philip K. I don’t know why I bother. I really couldn’t care less about this thread. If you guys want to blow it up with this kind of thing I’m not going to stop you or police it any more."I've made a note never to piss you two off." - Stike -
@HeavyG totally cool. I get that you didn't intend to do that. I mean, you were probably gonna post a cook, but then saw the AOC tweet and just got distracted.

@GATraveller thanks for sharing that. I have a campsite at a dark sky certified FL State Park for that night. It will be cool to watch.

@GrateEggspectations- Looks like a nice bottle of North America's version of Moet Chandon (great call if it is) on that rig in the second pic.
Regardless, beautiful home and art.Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win. Life is too short for light/lite beer! Seems I'm livin in a transitional period. -
Watching the hearings in GA MI PA and NV this week, the voter fraud appears to be rampant. Looks like to me we will end up having four more years of a Trump presidency.

Regardless, beautiful home and art.The bottle you spotted is in fact the original Moët from the Champagne region of France. I didn’t know a NA version existed(?). The difference with this particular bottle is that it has been adorned with a number of Swarovski crystals. I’m not usually one for keeping empty bottles, but this one is special to us - it was a gift in honour of our wedding some 12 years ago. It had been in storage until last week, when I actually bought a light to illuminate the interior and placed it on the ledge where it now lies. I returned the light, as it wasn’t quite functioning correctly. Am still trying to decide on a new light to place in it.Thanks for the compliments on the home; it is coming together, bit by bit. Today alone, we had custom curtains installed (which had been ordered several months back), picked up furniture for/set up a home office, had numerous new electrical outlets installed and got that fandelier in place - all on the margins of a full workday. Lots of energy expended, but oh so satisfying.Again, that is a keen eye, my friend! -

Does OT mean on topic now?
Anyhoo, Game Week 11 and a few fans are here! Whoop whoop. Due to the ‘unique’ interpretation of a tier system in place across England some teams can now have fans in the ground, but only if their age is half their weight but twice their IQ, they are born under the Virgo sign and know a left handed banjo player. Or something like that.
Here we go, then.
Friday : Aston Villa v Newcastle, fans but no players. Match postponed because most of the Toon have the C-bug.
Saturday : Burnley v Everton, a one goal thriller on the cards, 0-1.
Man City v Fulham, cue Star Wars scary bad man music, Citeh are on the rise. 4-0
West Ham v Man Utd, who knows with Utd right now. They turned it around late last week but West Ham are the surprise mid-table package. 2-2.
Chelsea v Leeds, Super Frank’s lads need to nail this with no alarm to underpin their top-end credentials. 3-1
Stoke v Middlesborough, oooh the impish tyke that is Neil Warnock (whose subriquet is Colin for anagram / very English swear word purposes, Google it) has Middlesborough full of vim and vigour. Bad time for them to rock up at the Multi Billion Pound HQ (plus Premier League bail out cash as of Thursday) of the Potters. Tough match and possible big statement win on offer. But 1-1 it is for me.
Sunday : West Brom v Palace, the ‘still on the naughty step for being hopeless’ visitors need to sort themselves out. Talismanic Wilf Zaha will be back so some hope exists. Roy normally knows what to do in these matches. He ought to want to this time as well! Meh, scrappy 0-1.
Sheff Utd v Leicester, both lost last week against expectation and that cant happen this time (obvs). 0-2 and the screaming scrote to pouch a pair.
Spurs v Arsenal, the North London derby and one of the more testy. Fans will be present but too few to make an atmosphere. Jose’s got this. 2-0
Liverpool v Wolves, had Jiminez not been all but decaiptated last week against the Gunners then this would have been v close. The Reds, oddly, play well after Euro matches - so it’ll be tight but 2-1 feels right.
Monday : Brighton v Southampton, a South Coast derby that at best reaches a tepid state of excitement. Please Saints do the decent thing and truncate this false dawn of Brighton stability and success in recent matches. It’s unbecoming of them. 0-2.
Got to dash, I need to generate 3 troll accounts so I can sink a whole bunch of threads. It’s all the rage right now, try it.

That's not too far from me. I would hope that the authorities are wise enough to watch CL and FB Marketplace for such. Crazy time when people are stealing grills.
