I won't judge anyone on whether they would have served or if they would have found a way to avoid the draft. Those people that are too young to remember, or weren't alive yet, don't realize that there were thousands of young men who used any loophole they could find to avoid the draft. College deferment is the first that comes to mind. Most likely being a senator's or representative's son might have been another. Some people seem to think that Trump was the only one.

Using negativity as an explanation for why you can't find good cooks or recipes on here really is some of the weakest sauce.  Basically what you're saying is that you've been on the forum now for four+ years, and you still can't figure out how to navigate it.   

By the way, why is it that the same folks who complain the most about the lack of cook threads have so few of their own posted?

I've noticed negative postings about the current administration since before trump got elected. I'm sure if which lump was best had the same kind of commentary on here it would get old as well. I'm not hating on anyone here for their beliefs and opinions,  it just gets old with the same old schtick over and over every day.

You have to hand it to South Korea, they got out in front on this and kicked it squarely in the dingus. Hopefully the rest of the world will use the S. Korean model to revise current pandemic response plans.
