That was since January 22. Three weeks after cheeto was first advised on how bad this will be, and 1.5 M
months, before he quit calling it a hoax and fake news.

    Too little, far too late.

Direct quote from Feb 26 briefing:

“So we’re at the low level.  As they get better, we take them off the list, so that we’re going to be pretty soon at only five people.  And we could be at just one or two people over the next short period of time.”

“And again, when you have 15 people, and the 15 within a couple of days is going to be down to close to zero, that’s a pretty good job we’ve done.”

This headline is a bit misleading according to a professor of infectious disease.

"Say it with me: *viral RNA doesn't necessarily mean live virus was present.* Now you're going to see "coronavirus can live on surfaces for 17 days!" over and over, but we don't know that based on this study and for those using live virus, it's much shorter. /7"

I read here that Trump has 50% approval ratings for dealing with the coronavirus. Is that true?

Coincidentally, that number matches people who believe in conspiracy theories and that journalism is fake.

...as @littlepeen56 has posted many buffaloed threads (and never anything he cooked) about how the stock market is zooming up from his overlord, I strangely don't see any posts about the Orange guy being responsible for the sudden tanking of the market.

BECAUSE THE PRESIDENT DOESN'T CONTROL THE MARKET.  As I have said many times, and every economist has said.  But if you want to take credit for the up, irrationally, you need to own it and take credit for the collapse.

So @littlerascal56 , go F yurself.  You pile of ignorance.

....also this guy said something like "Glad I've been stashing cash around...."  Ok, so you are either not very liquid or you are literally stuffing cash in your underwear drawer (or where you also stash your gay porn).  Point is, if you are advertising some kind of global bank collapse, you are drinking some serious cool-aid.  This kind of talk is NOT helpful.  So again, go F yurself.

Also, and what made me hate the pr!ck most, was his comment to effect:  "whoever collects the most toys wins, and I have the most toys". Then he later posts his tax amount on his house, which is probably 30% of the value most people here have invested in their property. Ooookaayyyy. Right.

....and who plasters a 3 foot high logo of a tool company on his garage wall other than a 14 year old kid?  Seems to make sense, in some way.  I can't figure this out.  Note: no exclamation points used in my posts.

I'm a lover, not a hater.  I have friends on both sides of the isle.  And we get along fine.  Just something douchy in this ONE guy has set me off and I really can't explain it.  So I apologize to everyone for being a **** about him.  If I every become THAT guy, please, I give everyone permission to put me out of my misery.  But I suppose part of the douche-canoe bit is that you can't realize that you are a floating pile of crap.  So again, sorry.

    Carry on, y'all.

There's some variation.  I've seen polls anywhere from 42 to 53 approval.

But much of this crisis has not become reality yet for a good percentage of the population.  I don't put much stock in the polling right now.  We'll see what it looks like in a couple of weeks.

The same polls also had shown Hillary as an overwhelming favorite in 2016.  By the numbers she won but by the EC...she lost.

So, would anyone pay 20-30% more for goods and services to have things brought back over the pond to the states?

The best country positioned for this crisis was the one who caused it.

Tokyo Olympics just got postponed.  Not like they had a choice.  A lot of countries were saying they wouldn't be sending their athletes.
