...as @littlepeen56 has posted many buffaloed threads (and never anything he cooked) about how the stock market is zooming up from his overlord, I strangely don't see any posts about the Orange guy being responsible for the sudden tanking of the market.

I'm a lover, not a hater.  I have friends on both sides of the isle.  And we get along fine.  Just something douchy in this ONE guy has set me off and I really can't explain it.  So I apologize to everyone for being a **** about him.  If I every become THAT guy, please, I give everyone permission to put me out of my misery.  But I suppose part of the douche-canoe bit is that you can't realize that you are a floating pile of crap.  So again, sorry.

There's some variation.  I've seen polls anywhere from 42 to 53 approval.

But much of this crisis has not become reality yet for a good percentage of the population.  I don't put much stock in the polling right now.  We'll see what it looks like in a couple of weeks.

Sooooo, we know from the trajectory in other countries that we’re a few weeks behind the curve, heading into a rapid acceleration of infections. Good time or bad time for POTUS to start discussing opening everything back up?  

Sooooo, we know from our best scientists that a vaccine is what, 6-12 mos out at the very minimum. Good time or bad time to suggest, without evidence of any kind, that existing drugs might be a viable treatment option?

Sooooo, we know who POTUS thinks about first, middle, and last, morning, noon and night, and that his hospitality businesses were suffering long before the tragic outbreak devastated (!!) the industry. Good time or bad time to give him control of $500mm in discretionary funds set aside to help distressed businesses?

Sooooo, we know what the healthcare experts are recommending, almost universally, at home and around the globe. Good time or bad time to adopt the contradictory, unscientific, opinion-based recommendations of the world’s loudest and most successful con man?

Anyone else remember the memo titled “Bin Ladin Determined to Strike in the US” delivered to and ignored by then-POTUS by his intel experts mere months before tragedy struck?  Now-POTUS had similar written and oral warnings from his intel and scientific experts of the tragedy that is now upon us. History may not repeat itself, but it sure does rhyme. 

Hug your loved ones, listen to the scientists, search for fact and truth. With Our Dear Leader becoming more and more politically desperate, this is going to get a whole lot worse before it gets better.
