Hate to go off-topic, but getting back to peanut butter for a moment, I prefer Adams creamy. Hate to mix the oil back in, though. A bit of a pain.
When I was a fat kid, I liked mayo with my peanut butter. Got to wondering recently if that really was any good and gave it a try. It was wonderful.

Peanut butter-a staple across generations and will be during the next great pi$$ing contest.  Coming to you this November 3rd and the remaining run-up.
Edit: I did not scroll back to see if I once voted but today I am big on Jif-super crunchy!
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

My god you would be "The Chosen One" on the reddit sous vide forums. All those people do is argue over searing with mayo or peanut butter.

Corv says "how about both, mofo's"?????

Is Jif pronounced with a hard “g” sound?

Peanut butter has a place in the culinary world (Ritz Cracker with jelly and or on two pieces of white bread)......searing with it just ain't right. I had a hamburger one time that was billed to have a peanut sauce on it. Worst burger I ever had. Maybe my pallet is simple.....but on a cracker for the win any day for me.

The best peanut butter can certainly be debated until the cows come home. However when it comes to salsa, there is simply no debate.

I thought it was pronounced "hif".

JIF crunchy and JIF smooth both winners.  I do buy skippy every few years, and I like it too.  Kind of like a dirty girlfriend, but always go back to JIF.

As legendary as their salsa is, nothing compares to Uranus, Missouri fudge.
