I’m an avid college football fan and have been listening for months to the pundits and experts about this season, and the one thing they all agree on in the P5 conferences is the SEC is the top this year and the bottom is ACC. Granted the top team is in the ACC, but that doesn’t make it the top conference.

Florida struggled to beat a freshman offense.
UKs victory over that team,  last year, kinda drops in significance.
    We got them at home.

My UCF Knights look to Notre Dame transfer Brandon Whimbush to take the mantle from McKenzie Milton who suffered a brutal injury to rival USF last year and is still recovering. I still think we have enough talent on both sides of the ball to win our conference, but our 17th ranking right now is about as high as I think we’ll get this year.

I just thank the good lord College Football and NFL are back.

    Charge on
My heart hasn’t been NFL due to softening rule changes and Mr Take a Knee.

1st game jitters, but the Miami O line just about killed their QB.

We have another battle of the ACC vs SEC this weekend here in the Carolina's. Should be a great game being played in Panther Stadium (Charlotte). Hoping we can extend the conference match up lead that Florida jump started last week. For my NC breathern on the forum......sorry, we are not on the same team this week.

Duke decided many years ago that competing with the Alabama’s of the world in football would require them to admit student-athletes who would never be able to graduate.  So instead we spend a fraction of the cost to field a team that’s capable of putting together a winning record most years and manages to get to a decent bowl game every once in awhile.

We made the right choice.  Stanford made the same call too, by the way.

You are one heck of a good sport Robin.

UNC will surprise some folks this year. THE USC has the most difficult schedule in college football, in like, EVER.

Good luck on the rest of the schedule, minus one, of course.

It is no secret that I hate Auburn with a passion. But I was surprised that they did not look better than they did. I really thought that they would massacre the ducks.

Actually, I think Texas A&M has the most difficult schedule. SEC west and Clemson out of conference.

I would agree, but TAMU does not have to play the undefeated UK Wildcats, following their stunning victory over the mighty Rockets of Toledo!

How's that for leveling the playing surface?
