    Nearing the end of waking around, we found a shop that sold port. They had vaults and vaults of the stuff. 


    Then we ate.  Really well. 
    Beef tenderloin tartar

    Asparagus risotto 

    Beef tenderloin seared over charcoal

    Cod fillet

    Cod chunk with potato’s

    Dinner did not suck.

    Last day here.  Did some more must do’s and sees. 






    And of course we then had to eat more:


    More cod:

    Octopus in kimchi:

    and a salted caramel dessert. Salted Caramel ice cream topped with a salted caramel mouse with a caramel drizzle and super salty popcorn.  It was fantastic. 


    Now we are relaxing and drinking the 3 bottles of wine we did not get to. Yet.

    OMG!
    I think I gained 10# just reading this thread.
    Mark, We definitely need to get together and go over a lot of these places as the wife definitely wants to go to Spain in the near future. AND, she hasn't even seen this thread yet.

    Just got back from the Cooks. It was beautiful, but not the gastronomic delight that your trip was.
