I think we’ll have both tasters tickets and cook tickets available this year.  My recommendation if you’re coming for the first time is just to get a taster ticket, in which case you really don’t have to bring much of anything.  People generally bring their own adult beverages and some folding chairs, but aside from that - you don’t need much!

Yeah, It would be a bit intimidating to cook in front of you guys right out of the gate. I would like to help out with anything else you guys need. I've put on a lot of events in my time so I know how much work goes on behind the scenes.

@johnnyp you better be there. We’ve gotta test our menu for DizzyFest on these knuckleheads and get some feedback!

Besides it will give us some more time to peer pressure @tarheelmatt to road trip to Manassas with us.

@frazzdaddy don’t worry about skill set, it’s all about the journey. @bgebrent served his brisket with ketchup on Saturday night!  ;)

Rent a camper. It really is kid friendly. Fishing, mini golf and @bgebrent favorite, a petting zoo.  Too bad he got banned.

I thought about that, but happen to have a new tent that I need to break in. A 3-day bender sounds like a good way to do so. lol

Is this the normal weekend? I thought it was always the third weekend in April.

Anyway...  looks like a no-go for me this time.

In my opinion, they are run down and nasty. No running water. No way my wife would be down for spending days in one.  Renting a camper is a better option. Personally, We just stay at the Courtyard. We’ve got enough points that it’s always free.
