The closest box store for me when in a pinch.
Around here, it sure seems that Lowe's and HD love to build their stores within a couple blocks of each other.

@Doglegdave - welcome aboard and enjoy the journey.  Above all, have fun.
BTW- very perceptive "my first."  This place can put a real hurt on your discretionary income with things you never knew you needed but now find a true necessity.  B)

If things go well, I'll be bringing home a Marlin 1894 CST tomorrow. Provided it meets my standards that is. ;) If not, then I'll be looking for a [local] shop to get me an Uberti 1873. Going for .357 Magnum either way since that's what my GP100 is. Once I have enough brass saved, I'll get the dies and such to reload. :)

I like your style. I have a used set of g400 irons right now from second swing but I think i'm going to take them back before I even use them, they are green dot (2 degrees up) and I kinda just them because I wanted g400s and they were there... After looking at them some more, I'm afraid they are too upright and will promote an even steeper swing than I already have. I stayed up until midnight or so the night I bought them thinking about it, I'm such a headcase... My trusty cleveland TA5s will remain in the bag for tomorrow.

I did also walk out with 2 stealth 2.0's myself 56 and 58 (bent to 60) and I love the way they look. I'm a little concerned that they both have 12 degrees of bounce and that might limit me a little but truth be told I probably shouldn't be opening anything up out of tight fairway lies anyway. I am gaming these tomorrow and I'm pumped to get there early to chip around a bit.

Excited to hear what you think about both the 410s and the stealths... what were you playing before the 410s?

Dual washing machine and a new dryer.
Learn something new darn near every day here.  Had to google a dual washing machine.  Those things aren't cheap.  Too bad they are appliances or you could extract a healthy pay-back.

We bought the LG sidekick to go with the front loader. Given that the sidekick was on sale for $499 vs $289 for a standard pedestal, it seemed like a no brainer. The wifey runs the washer constantly with very small loads so hopefully this will help with the water bill.

Wanted the same caliber that my GP100 is in. ;)
Planning to go to the local Tandy Leather store in the next week (or so) to get some lacing to use in the lever (to soften it for my knuckles). Since I took the posted pictures I've put some paracord (with the core strands removed) on it. That's OK for now, but I think I'll like leather better. :)
