Just placed the order for a new laptop... Lenovo X1 Extreme (customized to what I wanted). With the perks program through work, I saved over a grand on it. :) Went with things like the i7-8750H processor, dual 512GB NVMe drives, 32GB RAM, 4K display and on site warranty (3 year with battery coverage for 3 years).
Next up is a milling machine. Just need to see if I can eek out the space in the basement/garage for it to be placed there. I'm hoping I will. Of course, I'll also want a good set of DROs on it. :)
This hurts! Wait for AMDs Matisse, especially on Lenovo.

Now I need a scope for my AR10 build.
Plenty of options out there. All depends on your budget, magnification range desired and focal plan wanted. I've seen some good ones in the $350-$400 range or some insanely great ones for a grand (or more). If you want to punch gnat nuts at 1000+ yards, you'll need top glass.
I'll probably end up putting a Holosun dot (maybe add their 3x magnifier to it) on my AR10 pistol. Barrel has finally shipped (12.5") so I should have it together within a month or two. Waiting for my new mill to arrive so I can finish the 80% lower for that build. I have a list of what to get from where for the build. :)
Trying to keep under $500. Probably will never see over 400yds with it.
    Heard good things about Athlon...
Been eyeing that one for a while.
Installed the additional 32GB of RAM into my ESXi host yesterday. Up to 64GB inside that box now. Gives me the room to add more VMs and play with things like vRA. :)

Thanks for the link. I may have to consider one if those.  I've been hearing some good reviews on those Athlons.

You need to reassemble a cow or pig from all the different cuts and then cook it.

Went to home depot to get a new hammer drill. Long story short, I'm going to get it from Amazon for 25 percent cheaper because the home depot guy is an idiot.

which ones were you looking at. the rigid octanes and milwauki fuels are insane, the fuel is my new ice fishing rig, it punches about 30 eight inch holes thru 30 inch ice per battery. my older dewault would not finish one hole

I was going to buy the Milwaukee fuel 2804-22 kit with the 2 5.0 ah batteries. I have several other m18 and m12 tools.

I found the same kit on Ebay for 229, gonna go that route.

Sorry home depot. If you had it and the employee wouldn't have just gone to homedepot.com and asked for my credit card I would have bought it there.

I'm not sure if it's similar elsewhere but Lowes is always the most expensive. The closest box store for me when in a pinch. Typically always $1 more on the cheap stuff and goes up in price the more valuable it gets. I pass by Lowes and Home Deopt to get to a Menards.
