my croatian dentist scares the crap out of me but at least has 3d imaging scanner, it does the full uppers and bottoms in about 5 minutes then sends the info out to 3d print the molds ;).
I sat in my organization's "reverse-engineering/3D Printing lab" for about a year and got to play with some of this stuff, and even asked my dentist yesterday if my tooth was being "printed".  Not yet, they're being 3D-milled with a CAM system.

Picked up a used Jenn-air gasser that's been converted to burn Freedom Gas(tm).   Since I have a Freedom Pipe run out to the deck already, should be pretty easy to hook up.

    $70 plus my old gasser.
    You have free gas?

Quite frequently, much to the chagrin of friends and family with functional olfactory receptors.

Just installed a new belt on the dryer.  Replaced a water valve in my dish washer and a switch for my fan outside.  Oh and my motor went out in my air handler.  It’s been a rough week.

Not me, my buddy. Canadians will appreciate this.

My buddy and his wife were visiting San Francisco recently and toured some wineries. They liked several kinds and asked if they ship to Canada. the winery said yes, we do ship to Canada. The wine was $55 US/bottle and they ordered 6 bottles ($330 US or $450 CDN). As we're sitting on his dock he's telling me about his trip and he gets an email from either Customs or LCBO (Liquor Control board of Ontario). The wine is subject to taxes, duties, import fees, LCBO fees...blah, blah, blah.

The 6 bottles of wine cost $1,000 CDN to get to his door!!

If it doesn't, I'll know where I left it.  If it does, I might just sail outta here on it.

Got this delivered today.  Bought it thinking I could drop the suction tube into the water and clean my boat at the end of the day.  Also connects to a hose.

Similarly, a friend of mine brought home a case of wine from South Africa. Cost him a fortune and the same bottles could be had at the LCBO for a fraction of the price.

Had to buy a new grate lifter, my old one assploded into pieces and I couldn't find a pin nor the spring.  :bawling:  Sadly the handle is now rubber, my old one was wood and looked better.
Also remembered to pick up a bottle of 91% isopropyl alcohol to try that lighting method (why did I venture into a walmart on a Saturday?!?!)  That worked okay; the bacon-grease-soaked paper towels seemed to work at first but half the time the lump doesn't take anymore (maybe utard is running out of oxygen?  would explain a few things).  Grilled some Irish bangers, and some Pillsbury biscuits in the cardboard tube that didn't rise much, possibly because the "best if used by" date was some time in 2017.   :|

I ditched inkjet printers a while back. I had an HP MFP but got rid of it along with my aged (Dell) color laser printer a couple years back. Upgraded to a Xerox MFP that does it all. Workcentre 6515/DN.

I don't print often enough to get decent life from inkjet printers. Since the cartridges tend to dry out (or otherwise get sucked up when the heads are cleaned after sitting so long). I understand why people tend to go the ink route, I just don't follow there. ;)

My most recent and daily use printer is a Brother MFC-9330CDW which I've had for 5 or 6 years. Been very satisfied with it and have even had need to use the fax machine part of it a few times which was a bit unexpected. Color lasers are fine for most needs but you still can't beat inkjets for printing high quality color photos.

My color inkjet is a Canon Pixma 8500 which is about 15 years old. I haven't used it for about 5 years tho and I'm not even sure I can still buy replacement cartridges. If I find myself with a need/desire to do more high quality photo printing I'll definitely buy another inkjet.

I went with a Brother monochrome printer and a color inkjet (for photos) combo in 2007 (when I went digital camera), the Brother is still running but my inkjet went like yours.
I do so little photo printing that when I DO want a print, I send it to the local photo lab and have them do it on photo paper.  Both will fade eventually, but I believe a color photograph will outlast an inkjet print.

For $175, that Brother is an awesome machine for my business. It can print up to 6000 pages on a black cartridge with .9 cents per page running cost. About a quarter of the cost of most inkjets. 15ppm. Holds about a half ream of paper. Multi page scanning too. I never print pictures so that feature doesn’t matter. I have my prints done at Adorama anyway..
