30 qt.  It will definitely be around long after I'm gone.

Great purchase, Frank. Just don’t tell me that you’ll start putting your brown water on ice. 😉
The folks that distill the brown water routinely put ice in it. Just saying.

By “on ice,” I actually meant storing the bottles in the cooler. However, the thought of high end bourbon with icebergs floating in it is also frightening. Do what you will with Jim Bean, but if you put PVW and contemporaries on the rocks, there is no punishment severe enough. 😉

No worries re PVW- I still have an unopened bottle of the 12 year-old that I bought when it was relatively easy to find, likely at least a decade ago.  For now my upscale brown water is Blanton's, EH Taylor small batch, or Eagle Rare.  I enjoy Buffalo Trace and Four Roses single barrel for the routine pours.  More than you wanted or needed to know.  Have a great Friday and weekend.
Louisville; Rolling smoke in the neighbourhood. # 38 for the win.  Life is too short for light/lite beer!  Seems I'm livin in a transitional period.

We have a few rolls we are protecting.  I laid down a perimeter of punji sticks and we positioned firearms next to each window.

Yeah I hear you. The distillers of those fancy brown waters put ice in the fancy stuff too. Not always, but plenty often. Just crazy!

Did you fill and wipe the tips of those punji sticks with what you would use TP for to make it more interesting? Protection and conservation at the same time!

Nope.  Concentrated liquid crab boil.  Makes it feel like a snake bite.

I live in free 'Murica where a 'gun safe' is by no means a requirement. If you want one, OK. I have fast access to several firearms, and loaded magazines. Including a 40 round PMag with 110gr Vortex DRT's (300 Blackout) for my 300 Blackout pistol. ;) Plus a D60 loaded in 5.56 for the AR15 sitting right next to it.

I managed to get two whole turkey breast sections at the main grocery store I use. TP, bread, most veggies, and things like bottled water were wiped out. It baffles me how people think this is the end of the world. If you're going out and mass [panic] buying, it's too late for you. I have to wonder how much food will be getting tossed in the coming weeks because people did this stupidity.

At least my more local grocery store had the items I needed that the other did not. I also have at least 3-4 weeks worth of TP on hand. Mostly because I buy the mega rolls (9 pack) and that lasts me at least that long (if not longer, never timed it).

Also picked up two bags of charcoal from my local True Value. They got wiped out of what little TP and such they had too. People are farking NUTS.
Large BGE with CGS Woo Ring, stone with stainless pan, Smokeware chimney cap, Kick Ash basket and Kick Ash can.
Living free in the 603 (Pelham).

Nope... Either missed it by accident, or on purpose. ;) I tend to NOT click on video links (or most urls actually) that are posted in forums.

New duck hunting hat for my upcoming bday.
Always wanted one...unfortunately filson isn't buying into the corona panic...they're stuff is worth just as much today as last month  =)

  • @DuckDogDr: Serious question, as I don’t hunt. What is the strap in the front for? Stylistic, or functional?
  • DuckDogDr
    DuckDogDr Posts: 1,549
@GrateEggspectations that strap actually folds down and forms a set of ear muffs/neck gaiter to keep wind off of you, with the ability to secure it under your chin

I see. Thanks for the explanation. Had obviously seen that style before but it wasn’t apparent to me that this was what was going on here. Looks warm and functional!
