Seems @Eoin and I are in the spending mood.  Just pulled the trigger on this bundle of joy.   Small and unexpected bonus arrived through work,  so that got spent before it could be syphoned in to the domestic budget.
Dockers trousers, Merrell lightweight boots and Carhartt Madison shirt.
Just for clarity,  I am confident mine is larger and more snug than the one modelled.

Had a 5 dollar off coupon and was priced at $20, so for $15 I thought I would give it a try.

@Sea2Ski - you will need your trusty hammer to down-size some of the pieces.  But it all burns...

@lousubcap  that is what I am expecting. While I do not think any of us want dust, I do not want that large of pieces either.  I figure worst case, I put some of the big pieces at the bottom to insure good airflow.  Again $15?  I will give it a try.

Was going to pick this up tonight, but my boss told me to let her try to get a better price on CDW on our corp account, like CDW has good prices (insert laugh here).  (my price match at local Best Buy was $2499)

The guy at Academy recommended the HK VR40. It’s a little more expensive at $629 but he said it’s his favorite .40 he owns and he has the Springfield I went there to get. My brother has like 20 hand guns and he said he loves his Springfield. They also had a smith and Wesson M&P40 M2 on sale for $399 which felt good in my hand. I’m not going to be shooting this gun much I have a Sig .22 that I can shoot 500 rounds if I want for $20. Think I’m gonna shoot the HK, S&W, and Springfield this weekend and go from there.

I carry the m&p9 daily. Great little gun. Cleans easy, shoots well. The 40 is equally as good.

You will probably like the HK 40, I have a VP9 that I shoot the best out of any of the pistols I have owned. I would be interested to know how you like the SW M&P m2, I had a first gen M&P9 full size that I couldn't hit a barn door with. I've wondered how the gen2 triggers are. The wife has a SW shield and it is a great pistol, I am just not a huge fan of the hinge style trigger. Looking forward to an update!

If it’s for personal protection, spare no expense. My life is worth more than the difference in price from an “okay”
    gun to the best.

Take a look at the Kimber Micro 9 as well.

One more thing, remember that wheel guns don’t jam and they don’t eject casings...

Picked up some junky computer at a pawn shop for like 30 bucks.  I don't even know what an "i9" processor is.  Hope it works.  At least it was cheap.

Oh yeah, and a couple Roku boxes and a water fuel separator filter for my boat.
