Hell, ya only live once.  Just ordered one of these chamber sealers.

Link will change after today.  It's the

    VacMaster VP215 Chamber Vacuum Sealer

$500.  Seems cheaper than I've seen before.  Bags are cheap.  Vacu-suck liquids.  Why not?

A new battery for my garden tractor.
I walk in the store and said I want the exact  replacement.   She looks at it and brings me out a new one. Punches the holes on the purchase date as I look at the terminal orientation. Good.  Then I look at the CCA rating. 280.  I brought in a 330 CCA. I point out the difference. She goes back and she brings out a new battery.
I look - 300 CCA.  I asked if they had any rated at 330.
”I will go back and look” then out she comes with the  exact replacement and says that I do not need ”this” one because it costs $10 more.

Did I ask the cost? No. Did I ask for the exact replacement? Yes.   Did they have the exact replacement? Yes.  Why would I not want it when that is what I asked for?

Bought a new leaf blower. Decided to go cordless this time. The corded one I have doesn't really do a great job. From what I can tell now, it's due to the design of the thing. I'ts not meant to be a great leaf blower. That one was supposed to also be able to vac up leaves, but the bag didn't hold all that much. Even when they were chopped up really small.

New unit: DeWalt DCBL772X1. Also picked up a two pack of 60v 9Ah batteries. Charging all the batteries up tonight so that I can give it a go tomorrow. Or rather, mom will since she's going to borrow it as needed. Mostly because the cordless one she recently bought doesn't run for jack on time. I also suspect it's not a true leaf blower. Just something that 'also moves leaves' when you use it that way.

Luckily, I only need to do a smallish yard for leaves here. I'll do them in the next day, or so and then maybe once more before they're all off the trees.

Mow that is "go big or go home right there."  I'm guessing the truck was the most expensive... =)

I think you have to include expected maintenance cost.  Vehicles will probably lose by that measure.

Not sure what the third item is?
Home, new sunglasses, kicky shoes?

    Leaf blower pic...

Used it yesterday late afternoon. Took about 1/3 to 1/4 of the time to move the same amount of leaves as using the old blower.

The thing about vehicles is they depreciate quickly.  A wife must “increase” in value thru the years, as my divorce (in 2003) cost me about $350k, and 11 years of monthly “maintenance” payments. So the vehicles are a bargain😜 in my opinion.

Truth be told , I did not figure the human in the pic in the guesstimate but then again I am old B)
Edit:  I thought the third deal was the house and then played off that...totally missed the mark with the SWMBO who will totally win the day/week/month/year and duration.  FWIW-
