This morning @caliking told me that this wasn’t actually him, but instead the other Indian guy at the Blast.  Sounds legit.
Egghead gatherings are many things, but diverse is not one of them.
I was wondering who that other Indian guy was?

I think the other one is @caliking’s alter ego - only appears after the consumption of a lot of alcohol.

This was some time after @nolaegghead and @DMW poured a vat of peanut oil on the camp fire. Some innocent eyebrows were lost. Notice how the guys are standing BEHIND the chairs.

Smore’s were done by sticking the marshmallows out of the door of @YukonRon ‘s camper. That’s how big the fire was.

I got video of that.  Here’s the flame at its peak:

He said it was a slightly different recipe this time around.  This was apparently closer to the authentic stuff.   We inhaled it.

The version done at BCII was a spur of the moment thing - no spices, wrong type of onion, etc.

This time I had a plan - spices, homemade tamarind chutney, and caliqueen to make sure I did it right :)

Thank YOU for lugging a BIG wok for us to fry the pakodas in. Made all the difference.
