I was watching for a while when he was at the event at the Lincoln Memorial when he was saying that he had this great idea for doing an event there and that it probably hadn't been done before.

Well, except that Madonna has made her own fortune over the last few decades and not just marry one.

Not that I have anything against Melania, she seems nice and she has my sympathy. I'm sure she never imagined being thrust into the position she is now in. If you know what I'm saying.

Amazing number of people in the streets of DC. Noted on local noon news (CBC here in Canuckistan) that NYC has a very big crowd as well. America seems very divided, hope it can resolve its issues.

We are used to violent demonstrations from a small and annoying minority on The Left.  They are anti pretty much everything to do with the capitalist 'system'.  It's all a bit pointless, but keeps some bored middle class kids entertained.

I don't know if you have the same issue in the US, but here the voter turnout for younger people is low and for retirees very high.  The Brexit demographic was 50+ = out of Europe and under 30 = in Europe.  Just the under 30s can't be arsed to vote.  Getting people to turn out to vote would be more effective than protesting after the event.  Don't vote, don't whinge.

If the above is even remotely true you need to have your eyes examined. I give Madonna credit, she was hot and sexy in her day. But not a beauty queen. Melania blows her out of the water.
