Got this yesterday in Columbus OH - $3.99/lb but they had about 8 to choose from. I am a brisket rookie but this one has nice wiggle and Very little hard fat.

I was at the Lancaster, PA, Costco again today and they had only 3 Prime Packer Briskets in the cooler. I spoke with one of the meat cutters and he said that they had 2 cases of Briskets in the back that they would be bringing out soon. I was worried that perhaps the Texas rumor was true, but he said he knew nothing of the rumor and had the usual stock in their cooler. They were $3.99 per pound and the three in the cooler had lots of hard fat - no idea on the ones in back.

I was at the Costco in Lancaster, PA, again today and they are having a sale on Prime Packer Briskets. I don't know if this is being done at any other Costcos. They are giving a $10 discount on each brisket purchased. I think the price was $3.89/lb and then you get $10 off the price of the cryovac. They only had 4 in the cooler when I was there and they had a lot of hard fat. I wasn't interested in buying one today, so I didn't ask if they had more in stock. I think this sale continues until 2/25.
