I highly doubt those pumps and motors have experienced anything like this before.  Especially from those Ken-Tuck folk!

I suspect possum is quite pungent when it exits.

Actually it's JIC that will be putting on the show. I will just provide the appropriate tool for the occasion.

Brother D, I'm not sure how to respond here. If you are in on the joke with me and Uncle Apple, then the answer is yes, I'm bringing a very big unit for JIC to perform and demonstrate his skills with =)
On the other hand, if you are asking if I'm bringing Unit #9 to cook on, then the answer is yes sir, I am.
If things go as planned, I think folks will be "blown" away watching JIC at the helm of my big unit :D

@henapple Read between the lines above Unc ;)

Absolutely.  I grew up in NH and was raised to be a Sox fan from very young.  I suffered and paid my dues well before the past decade, during which we've been relatively spoiled by World Series championships.

@JohnInCarolina - Don't expect to see any of those single digit Yankee jerseys here as you get close to the finish-line.  But you do have Boggs, Fisk, Yaz and Williams (at a minimum) should you choose to go that route.  Of course, there may be more appropriate pics as the end draws near.  Season opener April 3rd-

You hear he tried to commit suicide?  Yep. Stepped right in front of an 18-wheeler.

Damnedest thing though - it went right through his legs.

@DoubleEgger - one of the more under appreciated Presidents, in my view.  Nice choice for 41.

Did a site check with @tarheelmatt and @piney today.  The spot we have is great!  It's really very close to the entrance, and nobody will have any problems unloading eggs or anything else.  It's also really close to the lake - cool spot all around.

There are pretty good signs for the park once you get off the highway.  Maybe a ten minute drive off I-85.  Most of you should be able to get there in one piece.  Leaving, on the other hand...

Back in country.  It's KY jelly.  That you ascribe Kentucky to this great invention and/or its origin only shows you have invention envy.

Dwayne is a newbie, give him a break. ;) The real question is Ky-NC.  That Kentucky and North Carolina are in the same bracket is all that matters.  Hoping to play your happy asses.
