Should have ordered the white. It'd end up tan riding around in the back of my truck.

  • I ordered the tan 20 and paid for it on 8/19.  Previously my shipping date was 11/19 now it is 12/4.  I'm guessing they are in a container on a slow boat from China, once they get stateside they'll get shipped.

Be patient my friend. The demand for the Yeti Killers has been over whelming to say the least. I belong to numerous forums (shooting, cooking, boating, auto) and the hot topic on everyone of them is the Yeti Killers. Everyone is ordering them. There is no way they could have anticipated the volume of orders that they received. Just look at this forum and the Brethern alone at how many of us ordered one or more. The coolers are starting to arrive through. Myself and several others have received them. Trust me when I say that they are worth the wait. They hold twice the ice for half the price.

That and they are tied up in their legal battle.  Better get them while you can because they may not be available...well, since they aren't readily available now they may be even less available than they are today.  Of course after you account for your money tied up for 5 months your "yeti killer" is approaching the cost of the original.

You lost me on this one^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^.
The small and meager amount that I paid when they started accepting payments never increased or changed. Maybe I'm missing something.

@cazzy - I owe you a apology for trolling on your post. I will cease now. Just bored my friend. On a serious note, I hope that everyone who ordered the coolers enjoys them.

@cazzy Quick question. Sister Dredger sent me a Kindle book but I can't locate it. I downloaded the Kindle App and looked on my Amazon account. Any thoughts to where it may be?

If RTIC did anything, they confirmed that Yeti is grossly overpriced.  Everyone knew they were expensive, but they prolly didn't know until now, that they were likely paying a 300-400% markup.

  • You would think that a white 45 paid for as soon as they asked for money would be an easy one to get out the door. Now they want me to wait another month ? I don't need their cooler that bad.

Awesome brother. My initial order was one of each size. I later added another 65 for Nola. It hasn't  been delivered yet.

Custom Guns/Knives require long waits.    As to tying $$ up for a few months,  it was less than $200.   I didn't have investments that pay enough to NOT save 50%  on a premium cooler pre-order.

REI lets you use the 20% off coupons that they do yearly on Yetis so you really only saved 30% to wait for an inferior product  and have your money tied up. Based on all the shipping issues so far with not even being able to tell people an expected date and then moving them once they do finally tell them I doubt this company will be around long even if Yeti doesn't own them after the lawsuit. Seems like a risky but to me I will stick with my Yetis happily.

I don't think they have proven anything yet. There is no proof yet they are nearly as good and no way to know if they will hold up over time. Also no proof if they can maintain as a company at that price point once they start getting warranty claims etc. In a couple years if the coolers are still holding up and the prices haven't gone up and they have decent customer service then they will have proven something.

All reports so far are that the product is equal too or superior to Yeti. Mine comes today. I'll test it against a Yeti to satisfy my own curiosity. It's not brain surgery, roto molded with lots of insulation.

These coolers look like a great bargain compared to others.  For the life of me I can't figure out why they don't put cup holders molded into the lid like the xtreme coolers have.  I love that feature.
