I will have to get my wife to look it up. But I ordered the minute that they started taking orders whatever day that it was. I didn't linger or hesitate at all.

Location- Just "this side" of Biloxi, Ms.

    Status- Standing by.

I ordered on August 18th.  I received my 65 yesterday, it is a beauty!  Ironically, I did not tell my wife about it and she had ordered a 65 Yeti for my birthday, arriving today.  I will post some side by side photos!

Has anyone received a shipping noticed that ordered a tan one?  Looks like all the ones being shipped are white.  Glad to see more average Joes getting them though.  I'm still being told Nov 14 on my 65 and 45 in tan.

This^^^^^^^^^^^is how I aquired all of the big units. By the time she found out, it was to late. Heck, the more I think about it, this was how I aquired just about everything I have. You should have seen her face when she came home from work and my new tractor was sitting in her parking place. She wasn't happy to say the least my friend.

I think what time of day you preordered can make a huge difference. I bet on August 18th a lot of people pre ordered.

Does anybody know if the free 2 day shipping is only for pre-orders?  Once they get stocked up and ship on a regular basis, does this offer go away?

I hear you brother. I love to fish myself. If you ever find yourself just this side of Biloxi, give me a shout and we will go destroy some ground mullet and white trout.

  • For those with White, whether it be a Yeti, Pelican, etc. How easy is it to keep clean?

i have a small white engal and a white commercial grade fishing boat. twice a year i hit it with bleach and water just spraying it on and rinsing after 30 minutes. if the boats sitting in salt water the cooler and boat stay clean and white. i would not opt for another color that may fade over time

First pic.  Two gallons of milk comfortably fitting with plenty of room on the sides and top.  Just perspective.  I will load it up in a few.  It looks like it could handle about 20#s of just ice.

If this thing (the 20 size) holds two growlers standing up, I am game.  I just looked up the dimensions of a growler and it says 11", I am confused by the dimensions on RTIC's site though.  The best I can see it is 10-7/8" maybe?  which would be rather unfortunate if I can't get one in there by 1/8".

Did not know all growlers were a standard 11" tall. I have seen them in all shapes and sizes and they are getting more popular now so future options should be even greater.

You are correct that there is no standard size.  What I meant is there is one bottle shape that is most common (typically brown and the cheapest growler option).  The ones that are not this type are actually larger that I have.

I just talked to their online help (they were fast and great by the way) and they did say the internal is 10 7/8".  I think they missed the boat on craft beer fans being able to transport them vertical.... by 1/8".  I will measure mine when I get home to verify my grower heights.

That would suck to miss by 1/8".
Cooler might have that much "flex" in the center of the cooler where the top of the growler would hit?
